Didn't know there was a new Aussie Embassy in Pattaya. Where is it supposed to be 😉

There isn't, but you already knew that didn't you?

How did you get there, self drive, taxi, bus etc? Is it easy to find?

Older threads warn that there is no parking nearby,

Most recommend to walk from MRT Lumpini. Short walk.

How to get to Bangkok is "up to you" and what you want to pay,

Cheap by bus, minibus and changing to public transport in Bangkok (MRT in this case) or take a taxi within Bangkok.

Thanks. I asked on the Pattaya forum because it's from here I would be making my way to the embassy. If  I was in Hua Hin I would have asked on that forum.

Doesn't matter where you are mate you should be able to work this out for yourself. Get to BKK. There's the 1st thing you need to do. How you get there is up to you. When you're there find your way to the embassy. Admittedly BKK can be a bit daunting but use the net and Google maps and you'll get there. Make sure you make an appointment.

Adjacent to the current embassy the One Bangkok office towers, mall etc officially opened a couple of months ago, so this should solve the issue of where to park the car if driving to the embassy.

I'm hopeless with directions.

This map is available on the Embassy website.

Most taxi drivers should know where it is.

I just gave mine the copy and it was a piece of cake.

Give him a break ,he is in his 80's !

And he's living the dream in Thailand.

Meanwhile, you're in your sixties and still mopping floors in Australia.

I caught the train to the nearest station then walked after flying down from Isaan.

Maybe the easiest round trip way from Pattaya would be to hire a Taxi or Grab.

As someone already said, make an appointment.
