Pig Prices Up

Yesterdays Thai Rath newspaper reported pig prices up to 46 baht per kilo. Makes me a very happy bunny! Anyone sold any recently?

I saw that to, our farmers are happy, buying more small pigs, and using more feed, I'm a happy bunny as well

Lucky bu66ers, maybe more expensive but at least you can get it! Pork has disappeared from all restaurants here in central VN. I haven't checked out the meat stalls yet but AFAIK it's due to a disease called, I think, green ear disease and has killed two people here. So maybe you are experiencing the knock on effect.

what's green ear disease?

Seems odd. Carrefour here in Pattaya has loin at Bt70 something a kilo and mince at Bt59 a kilo. Cheapest in months.
