fruity Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Yesterdays Thai Rath newspaper reported pig prices up to 46 baht per kilo. Makes me a very happy bunny! Anyone sold any recently?
Tilapia Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I saw that to, our farmers are happy, buying more small pigs, and using more feed, I'm a happy bunny as well
PhilHarries Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Lucky bu66ers, maybe more expensive but at least you can get it! Pork has disappeared from all restaurants here in central VN. I haven't checked out the meat stalls yet but AFAIK it's due to a disease called, I think, green ear disease and has killed two people here. So maybe you are experiencing the knock on effect.

torrenova Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Seems odd. Carrefour here in Pattaya has loin at Bt70 something a kilo and mince at Bt59 a kilo. Cheapest in months.
