Starmer Defends Decision to Deny Compensation for Waspi Women Amid Backlash
It's the lies upon lies upon lies thats the problem. Just about every cabinet minister promised that they would compensate these women, only to turn around and deny them once in government. Cancelling overseas climate aid could easily fund this if they wanted to, or instead of spaffing £22bn on unproven carbon capture they could use the much cheaper and proven method of planting trees. Not paying them compensation is actually the right thing to do as 25 years was more than enough notice to address an equality imbalance, but just like everything else they touch in government it has once again made them look like the moronic lying clowns that they are. -

Thailand Unveils E-Visa System, Streamlining Travel for 2025
'Pioneering'? E-visa has been in operation for many countries for several years. Reminds me of the 65 year old auntie in my extended Thai family. She's never been more than 300 km away from her birth town of Roi Et. Never been to Bkk, Pattaya, Phuket. She never stops telling everybody that Thailand leads the world in everything. She claims that other countries are not allowed to have tourists and she tries to push her idea that every foreigner should pay 100,000Baht for a document to enter Thailand for 1 week. And should pay double price for everything. She has no cards other than her Thai ID card and driving licenses for car and m.cycle. She claims that all computers are fake.- 1

Windbag at work - again
Your choice. Personally I don't eat pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, or cats, dogs and horses. Too much cruelty involved in bringing them on to a plate and into a mouth. -

Windbag at work - again
I haven't been able to find any credible source that states that Haitians in Haiti eat dogs or cats as part of their typical diet. I am not inclined to travel to Port-au-Prince to try to determine if this is the case or not. Instead, I would be pleased to consider any credible source that states that dogs or cats are a part of Haitians' typical diet. I can't find any. I am not accusing you of being racist. -

Do Thais really attack foreigners for no reason?
Been vacationing here since 2000 and now live here year round. Only times I had aggro from anyone was 2 times from "my fellow Americans", and once from a group of Brits (these fellows were maybe yobs or chavs I didn't ask). In both cases alcoholic beverages were involved and I exercised the better part of valor and either ignored or moved on.
