A warehouse under construction in Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi, collapsed during the  morning of December 21, injuring multiple workers. The incident occurred at 10:30 in Moo 9, Mueang Kao Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province.

Emergency responders from the Satchaphutthatham Foundation quickly arrived at the scene. The warehouse, which was being built for a recycling business, had a steel structure over 10 metres high. Reports indicate that the structure collapsed, causing workers who were working at height to fall. Many were pinned under the heavy steel framework, crying out in pain.

Rescue teams worked urgently to free those trapped. Initial reports confirmed that six workers sustained serious injuries, including broken bones, head wounds, and other lacerations. They were rushed to Kabin Buri Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses stated that the workers had been welding steel beams at the top of the structure when one of the beams collapsed. This caused a chain reaction, pulling down other parts of the steel framework and resulting in the entire structure falling apart.

Police from Kabin Buri Police Station are investigating the exact cause of the collapse. They will also question the contractor overseeing the project to determine whether negligence or safety violations contributed to the incident.
