A Christmas Day bust-up down the 7/11.

Barely a few hours into Christmas Day and I have already had an altercation with a Russian.

 

I went to 7/11 for a pint of milk so I could make myself and Mrs.Neville a nice Christmas coffee when all of a sudden a steaming drunk, shirtless Russian walked in screaming and shouting god knows what. He was hanging around the till section making a general nuisance of himself then I went up to pay. He refused to move and let anyone go in front of him so I said politely 'excuse me sir' to which he turned around and screamed something Russian in my face, spitting all over me, he then proceeded to pick up a loaf of bread and started swinging it above his head like a cat by it's tail. He almost hit me in the face with it, he then pushed in front of me again, paid for the bread, gave us all the fingers and left...

 

what a start to the day.

 

surely it can only get better!

Id imagine the thais in phuket and pattaya can only take so much. Something has to give sooner or later

Did you execute a head slap? You would have been justified because he posed an imminent threat to your safety. Spitting on someone is an assault.

have you ever witnessed first hand how much food is wasted by them?

 

It seems the Chinese in particular like to order as many dishes as possible, take a picture to send to their friends back home and then leave it all... I had a conversation with a restaurant owner about it once and he was almost in tears that all his good food had gone to waste but he couldn't do anything about it because they paid their bill.

 

I've witnessed this on multiple occasions. So sad.
