Three Russian ships have sunk while trying to avoid sanctions. They were old vessels.

It is generally accepted Russian domestic aircraft will be less safe, because sanctions mean Boeing and Airbus planes are not getting new parts, or software upgrades from those manufacturers.

Instead, Russian maintenance engineers are forced to cannibalize existing aircraft. There are reports the Russian fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft has shrunk from 700 to 400.

Which 3? There is only 1in a quick search. the crew have said there were 3 explosions, the owners have said a terrorist attack.

I read over 8 reports that say the same thing, terrorist attack of 3 explosions on 1 ship.

Seems like almost certainly Ukrainian sabotage.  Ships don't just explode and sink due to lack of maintenance.

Search harder, three ships have sunk.

With your connections, take a flight from Moscow to Vladivostok. Maybe you will even get there safely.

Only read of 1 unless you are including previous reports.

But still the question remains.... what is starting?

Some speculation that the Azerbaijan Airlines crash was due to a Russian missile/drone.

It was heading to Russia with Russians on board, that would be as unlikely as Putin taking out NORD stream

It is beyond doubt that the aircraft suffered critical damage from an anti-aircraft missile. The question is who fired it.

The demise of domestic aircraft services in Russia.

Were you behind the door when they taught making inferences from data supplied to you?

I am sure soon Trump will make a deal with Putin and everything will be fine.

That's what he promised, or not?

maybe he will just buy ukraine and declare peace...it is all so simple that he will fix it in 24 hours.

Google " Bolivar Maru"

Any ship can break in half if it is overloaded and gets hit by a large wave, especially if it is quite old, and poorly maintained.

Since welding replaced riveting due to the faster speed of construction, there have been some hull failures due to poor quality control of welds.

These ships exploded.......A broken weld doesn't explode.

Didn't the Yanks wipe out a whole section of bridge recently killing some bridge workers and blocking a harbour?

Somehow I think you are confusing sinkings  with crashes and structural failures with explosions.

Accidents happen.  Did Putin mean to take out MH17?

Shooting down passenger planes is from the US playbook.

Not at all, the ships and aircraft are separate issues. The common thread seems to be slipshod maintenance in some, and enemy actions in others.

Either way, my point is Russia is not a safe place anymore. Before the Ukraine war, it was.

The score is Russia 2, USA 1. Try harder, comrade.
