Tourist Confronts Police Over Lantern Release in Chiang Mai During New Year
What a pity you could not be bothered to follow through with your explanation. For an offence to be stopped it first has to be seen. Only then can the police intervene. It seems from the OP the RTP tried to stop the stupid young tourist, who then assaulted the policeman who in turn took the sky lantern away. The RTP showed restraint which the tourist did not, and no charges were laid though they could have been. -

Skydiving stunt lands 3 Americans in hot water at Bangkok mall - video
You'll shoe-horn in any logic to have a dig at the Thai's - its pathetic. Base-jumping in a busy area is an activity not only dangerous for those taking part, but can have innocent victims too - If something goes wrong, pedestrians underneath and those in the landing area are at risk. The authorities are 100% correct for attempting to deal with this issue - although it was 3 months ago, and I suspect those who took part are no longer in Thailand.- 1

Azure Hotel (formally Centara) Soi 15 Seized/closed
II think you've answered your own question: The United States and Thailand have a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) in force, which was signed on March 19, 1986, and entered into force on June 10, 1993. This treaty facilitates cooperation between the two countries in the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of criminal offenses. " It allows for the exchange of evidence and information, including the execution of requests for search and seizures, serving of documents, and transferring persons in custody for testimonial purposes." In other words, the US can request the execution of a request for seizure., but the. US court does not have jurisdiction, so a Thai court must finish the process. In this case, where is there Thai seizure order? Either there is something missing here, or the hotel was seized without legal process. on the assumption that there was no one with standing who could argue about it in court, except a criminal. -

As far as I'm aware, Pacific Cross is a Thai company. I think it operates in other ASEAN countries, but I don't think it's a Thai branch of a non-Thai company. -

Windows 10 support ends in a year . . .
I read through the whole thread and can see that it's already been demonstrated to you a number of times. Any new links will likely be subject to your own personal interpretation. I get the feeling that you will question everything ad infinitum. Am I right? -
