There are a lot of very worthy charitable causes out there these days, and alot of need. With wealth comes a tremendous responsibility to try to do some good in this world, those who don't are merely grinches trying to hold onto every last dollar. Nothing attractive about that. Just legendary levels of self-absorption is all that is. -

I've just bumped a thread about this. Interesting. Maybe Microsoft's push to help out chip and hardware manufacturers might backfire and send many to their opposition, being Google. If Microsoft will not let you run the latest OS on older hardware, but Google will, then people might decide to jump off the Windows platform. -

Fidelity new login step OTP = US mobile number needed. Good options?
They caught me 'bout ten years ago. Only result was they restricted my account to not purchase or re-invest new shares of US-registered mutual funds. International people are not a problem. I have a couple Chinese friends that opened accounts while in the US on a work visa. They were allowed to retain their account when they returned to China. I've also contacted a Fid rep about opening a brokerage account for my Thai wife, and am awaiting the forms. -

Giving Up Weed
Yes, edibles definitely do work. I've made my own cannabis infused edible oil, which is very concentrated and strong and you need to be careful with the dosing. And the oil could now be added to food too if you want. I often put a few drops on top of a piece of chocolate give it to somebody as a bit of a cannabis confection. But with all edibles, the cannabis has been first heated up, and/or the THC has been extracted into an oil or an alcohol base using heat, and then eaten directly, or put into a food item like butter or oil and then added to foods like brownies, cookies, muffins, etc, or some other edible form. -

Young Man Swept Away by Flash Flood After GPS Leads Couple Down Shortcut
Lesson #1. Never attempt to cross a raging river on a motorbike, much less a car. You always have the option of turning around and finding another route. That kind of logic is always superior to sacrificing one's life. Blame GPS all you want, the reality is it was a complete lack of common sense that got this guy and his girl killed.
