Biden’s Presidency he'll “leave office in disgrace.” by CNN Commentator

President Joe Biden’s final days in office have sparked intense debate, with CNN commentator Scott Jennings declaring that the president will “leave office in disgrace.” This sharp critique was voiced during Sunday’s episode of CNN’s *State of the Union*, where Jennings joined host Dana Bash and fellow panelist Karen Finney to discuss Biden’s legacy.

Finney, while acknowledging earlier concerns about Biden’s health and suitability for office, described his presidency as impactful, stating that the effects of his policies would endure beyond his term. However, Jennings vehemently disagreed, pointing to key controversies as defining marks of Biden’s tenure.

“I think he’s gonna leave office in disgrace,” Jennings stated, as reported by *Mediaite*. “The Hunter Biden pardon was disgraceful. He’s going to be remembered largely for inflation and for the disastrous Afghanistan pullout.”

Jennings also raised concerns about the administration’s handling of Biden’s cognitive health, suggesting that significant efforts were made to obscure a potential decline. “I think it’s going to be a really ugly chapter,” he remarked. “It’s a diminished presidency because of it.”

He further speculated about the extent of these alleged efforts, adding, “I think we still don’t know the full extent of what they did to try to hide what they’ve been doing over in the West Wing.”

As the transition to President-elect Donald Trump nears, Biden has undertaken a series of final executive actions. Among them is the controversial decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, which has drawn sharp criticism from Republicans and commentators alike. In addition to this, Biden commuted the sentences of 37 individuals on federal death row, further fueling debate over his legacy.

While Biden’s supporters highlight achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, and climate policy, detractors like Jennings argue that his administration will be remembered for scandals, economic challenges, and what they perceive as a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

With just weeks left in his presidency, the debate over Joe Biden’s legacy is far from settled, leaving Americans divided over how history will remember the 46th president.

The Biden legacy, his mental impairment and the 4 year coverup UNTIL Trump destroyed Biden in a debate June 27th. Bye bye Biden....you're done! Throw in his corruption and the Biden crime family receiving millions in payments for foreign adversaries.  Nasty bunch them Bidens, especially Joe and his "impressive" repertoire of FAILURE.

Carter's administration was a disgrace, not the man.  I think all agree on that.

There is nothing redeeming about Biden.  Personally or politically.

Worst presidents, in order of, in my adult life ...

Not that it matters one jot (saves you from saving it)....but I never thought for one minute he was right choice.

It screamed out for a younger, more dynamic person, but as poor as he was, he was a tall white, male family type of guy and that's all that was needed to beat Trump.

Those Repub Talking Heads sure do have an odd definition of "disgrace".

Consider:

45 left office with a Recession and 6.8% unemployment. 45 was the first POTUS since Herbert Hoover to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he entered office.

Biden will leave office with a booming economy, which has grown 3 times higher than the average G7 economy since 2020, 4% unemployment, and a stock market that bolted upward....but is now having second thoughts about who is taking over.

While the entire world has seen inflation since the end of Covid, the US under Biden has slashed it from 9% down to 2.5%, all while maintaining a growing economy. Even Carter/Reagan and Volcker couldn't pull that off. Manufacturing jobs are +800,000 under Biden, an actual bipartisan Infrastructure Bill was passed (as opposed to "Net Week is Infrastructure Week" [and the Arrival of Godot]), prescription drug prices for things like insulin are down, and the US produces more energy than it uses.

Most Presidents would love to be such a "disgrace".

Admittedly where the two men are equal is that Mexico paid as much for a border wall under both Presidents, $0

The fact that Biden's performance could be so far superior to 45, despite Biden's age issues, is both a testament to Biden's strength as well as a reminder of just how incompetent the 6-time bankrupt, now convicted felon and civil convicted sex offender is, convicted bank and insurance fraudster, and charity fraudster is.

The true disgrace will take office again 20 January, no doubt doing an even worse job than his first attempt. Flags will be flying at half staff to honor Jimmy Carter, but likely also to mourn the carnage to come under 47.

I suspect 2025 will see at least a 20% decline in the S&P, unemployment rising to somewhere between 5-6%, and the start of a Recession. It will be tough to blame Biden, but 47 and guys like Jennings will try.

And ye shall truly know the meaning of disgrace.

You maybe missed that the unemployment during President Trumps reign was due to Covid(a direct result) -  distorting the truth,

Unemployment just before the pandemic(Feb 2020) was 3.5% a record low.

Most of Biden's recovery was due to policies of Trump, including Operation Warp Speed, which accelerated vaccine development.

Inflation was reduced, again because of Covid and you forgot to mention the  Federal Reserve, which raised interest rates ridiculously!

Under Trump, U.S. oil and natural gas production reached record highs.

Not sure why you credit more energy produced than used to Biden, he wasn't president in 2019 when this happened for the first time in many years. Google "America First Energy Plan"

Yep. Carter was a good person.

Biden? Joe Biden only cares about Joe Biden.  He very well may go down in history as the worst president in US history.  If not the worst, then in the basement of US presidential legacies.

Biden was an absolutely terrible figurehead. The rest of the world cannot believe that in a country the size of the US, with intelligent people in it, the two at the top of the pile were Biden and Trump. How can that happen? The rest of the world laughs.

So him (as a figurehead), but Trump MkI and George W Bush were the worst in my lifetime by a country mile. Trump was just a lying, disgusting buffoon, Bush is a war criminal (Blair too).  Obama was a great statesman, someone you could be proud of to represent your country on the world stage.

So, as a non American, please enlighten me - how did Obama "destroy healthcare"? I thought he extended health care coverage to people who otherwise couldn't afford it or couldn't be covered. Isn't that a good thing? Must be more to it that I am missing.

PS: none of them could do anything about your rampant gun problem which is a stain on all of them in my opinion.

Get real Mr. Jennings. Trump is the only President that got convicted. That will ranked him as the worst President to be impeached twice and convicted.

Didn’t you called Trump out for causing the riot. Now you trying to sane wash him. You are a disgrace to earn a living in CNN.

Does this sound like affordable healthcare to you :cheesy:

image.png.d0490d52f2a3333b574662a48556bd5e.png

And doesn't kick in till your bills are how much ?  :w00t:

image.png.cd959e7e223edfbe9e8c634f1dca491e.png

If you have an oops (on single plan), and go to hospital, your insurance cost

$8,951  ... to simply have, then kicks in after your deductible of

$7,258

$16,209 ... cost to you before you get to pay 40% of the rest of your bill

So a medical oops that cost $66,209, cost you $36,209, and the insurance picks up $30,000. :cheesy:

Here's the most bizarre thing I read.  Gag clauses ... In some states, if you give the pharmacist, your health ins. card, it's 'illegal' for the pharmacist to tell you, if you pay cash, instead of using your ins., then it's cheaper than just your deductible if using health insurance :w00t:

Note, there are 50 states ...

It was basically everyone who doesn't like Trump. Indeed, shame on them.

The difference is that Carter was a good man in the wrong position. Biden is IMO a bad man and leaves as a man in disgrace. His misdeeds finally caught up with him.

However, should we blame the mentally challenged Biden for the failures of his presidency, or his handlers? I think his handlers are mainly to blame.

Jennings is correct IMO, and good for him saying it.

There is going to be a lot of butt covering in the Dem party as the truth comes out. Hopefully the Trump administration will launch an investigation as to how a mental incompetent could be kept on as POTUS.

Asked and answered many, many times.

Trump was just a lying, disgusting buffoon,

Which makes him a normal politician, IMO.  If Trump was that, what is Harris ( or Biden ), in your opinion?

Obama was a great statesman, someone you could be proud of to represent your country on the world stage.

:cheesy:

He sure fooled you then.

Must be more to it that I am missing.

You sure got that right.

PS: none of them could do anything about your rampant gun problem which is a stain on all of them in my opinion.

It's a people problem, not a gun problem.

Only people that believe in the nanny state think that banning guns will solve that problem, and banning guns only stops law abiding people from owning them. The criminals never have a problem finding a gun to use.

All of them, all the liberals and the deeply corrupted deep state worked in concert, 24/7,  to cover up Bidens very obvious mental decline.
