A 47-year-old Thai tour guide, Angkana "Oil" Rungpaisarn, claims she was drugged and robbed by a taxi driver during a late-night ride in Bangkok on December 26. After a night out drinking with friends at a bar on Soi Sukhumvit 11, Oil woke up injured and without her valuables on the roadside near Soi Sukhumvit 81. The amount stolen has not been disclosed.

Unable to recall the taxi ride, Oil suspects the driver drugged her. However, her attempts to report the crime at Phra Kanong and Lumpini police stations were unsuccessful, leading her to seek help from non-profit organization Saimai Survive.

Motorcycle taxi rider Somphon Khemphet, who found Oil the following morning, noticed wounds on her face. Oil refused medical treatment and instead asked Somphon to take her to her condo, complaining of a severe headache. He suspected she might have been sexually assaulted.

Ekkaphop Lueangprasert, founder of Saimai Survive, assisted Oil in involving the Metropolitan Police Bureau after local police dismissed her case. Investigators traced Oil's phone signal to Suea Pa Market, suggesting the thief may have sold it. Security footage is being reviewed, and the taxi driver remains under suspicion. He will be called in if evidence shows the drive took longer than 20 minutes.

Unfortunately she was probably too drunk or drugged up to remember what happened, otherwise she would’ve gone and reported it immediately to the police. That along with the lazy police officers will make this a hard case to solve. Sadly this happens all over the world.

I am just going by the info above.

She is on a motorbike taxi, How was she drugged?

Who would take or drink anything a random taxi driver gives them?

I believe the Police want her to visit the hospital to get the test results and Medical reports to support her case.

Hope everything works out okay.  Many unanswered questions.

Doom and gloom again!!! So much for Thailand being a safe place. People should stop coming to Thailand. It's so corrupt. Good times are long gone now.

Greed and corruption seems to be the thai culture now.

Is it true cops in Thailand have to pay a corruption bribe to get into police academy?

My girlfriend told me her brother has tried3 times now to get into the police academy but despite passing the test each time he was not accepted because he did not have the amount needed.

I make no assumption here only passing on information given to me from a person I have been with for 7 years and who is very honest.

It says she was in a taxi. It was the motorcycle taxi that found her in the morning.
