NFL - how's your Team going?
Sounds good to me. I would even settle for a 3 point win just to keep the morning interesting here I Thailand. I’ll be at my favorite pub at 6:30 watching the game -

Leo versus Singha: Roughly same cost. But, which one has smaller bubbles?
The last time I drank this Dutch offering was quite some time ago, when Taiwan purchased two subs. In exchange for agreeing to sell Taiwan subs, I think Taiwan, out of the kindness of the heart, decided to buy up a ton of Heineken beer. The locals did not like it. And, the price kept dropping Finally, I bought some, too. I would prefer German beer. And, I think I would never pay "extra" for Dutch beer, at least no more than for Singha or Leo. Is Heineken more expensive than Singha? And, what about the Dutch Brew's Bubbles? Are they small enough for me, do you think? We on Formosa salute the Dutch for their Subs, but not so much for their Brew. Although, Heineken seems to be doing much better in Taiwan these days, compared to 44 years ago. The Dutch just LOVE Taiwan.... But, in the past, the Taiwanese disliked their beer. Not so much, now, I think. Maybe they want to sell more weapons to Taiwan. Or, establish another colony on Formosa... IDK, Too early to say, for now. -

Some british <deleted> wanted to fight me earlyish this morning
I see, you are too lazy to do a bit of research. Here, I'll help you: "Coprophagy is the scientific term for eating feces. It can refer to eating one's own feces, or the feces of another animal or species. The word comes from the Greek words kópros ("feces") and phageîn ("to eat")." Australians punch well above their weight in medical research and science generally. The black box recorder on every aircraft was invented by an Australian. The label of intellectual is usually applied by non-intellectuals, as a form of reverse snobbery. -

Is this true: "Bangkok is garbage now a great place for naive clueless tourists and overpay"
I fly into Swampy from overseas (N China) once a month, stay a week or so and all in, I'm at $500-600 for airfare and hotel. That includes a weekend up country every few months, with hotel and (historic) train ride. I figure food's a wash whether I stay home and eat or eat in Thailand. I thoroughly enjoy those visits. I also loved working in Bangkok for those 6 years. So I'd disagree with the characterization as Garbage or A great place to overpay. I'd be hard pressed to enjoy an overseas trip more for less $$$. Of course, like anywhere in the world, you can overpay. But I don't have to. -

Thai airline flight makes emergency landing in Phuket
and did the flight to Phuket make an "emergency" landing at any other airport other than its actual destination? Another storm in a teacup or trouble underneath the coconut shell of Thailand. -

Buying laptop at Amazon USA?
The import fees and taxes are already taken care of. It's seamless. It will just show up on your doorstep. <----- 😕 That's right. Amazon will be delivered by someone who probably doesn't have your telephone number, and they'll just drop it off in front of your door or gate. If it's stolen...oh well. The "Nightmare" will have nothing to do with taxes and custom fees. Speaking from experience. If Amazon has a place to put a notice to the delivery agent, then include your telephone number and instructions not to drop off the package without a signature.
