If you don't hunt, you don't understand much about it. Yes, there are many, many hunters who use a pistol, many I personally know. If you look at the sales of Thompson Centers and like pistols you'll see. Some Thompson owners are target shooters. Many carry sidearms when hunting bears for protection. Carrying guns doesn't make you more of a man. You either are or you aren't . A pistol is just another way of hunting, like a bow, crossbow, rifle, spear or shotgun.
I watch YouTube, and obviously I look at the source and the person.
I.e. I watch Glenn Greenwald and Rory Steward on YouTube, and not just sound bites but long conversations.
I also watch some Lex Fridman interviews.
I listen and I try to learn. Do I believe everything they say? No. Do I agree with everything they say? No. But they are often interesting sources for information.
Do you think there is something wrong with this?
Excellent point. Lots of the members here are living in the past. As I pointed out earlier, Post WW2 Japan was often ridiculed for cheap low quality goods it exported. Most people stopped laughing at Japanese tech a long time ago. Nowadays, Made in Japan is a byword for high quality.
Technology-wise, Thailand is in the 21st century, but the people and culture are still in the past.
When I was in Pakistan we used to sayit was still in the feudal system with 21st-century weapons
Pakistan is still, in many ways, in the 1950s at best, but it has technology that even some Western countries have not figured out.
The education system is the best example of this: the students have computers but a lot of the teachers still teach wrote learning and have no idea how to teach online.
