January 7, 20251 yr Remitly have you used them for money transfer? Looking at using them for the first time, was surprised with the differance in sending £1,000 via Wise today there was an 800 baht differance in favour of sending via Remotly

Also becareful as my thai bank made a charge on the transaction unlike when I send via Wise they dont. I think this may be becaause Wise sends in baht to the bank.

Otherwise you have the 0.25% fee from the Thai bank (min 200, max 500 Baht). Don't be fooled by first time specials. Don't be fooled by low/zero fees before checking the exchange rates.
