An incident occurred on January 11, when a van carrying Nan Provincial Administrative Organisation (PAO) candidate, Mr. Santipap Intharapath, overturned while navigating a sharp bend on a mountainous road in the area of Two Khaew District, Nan Province.

The white minivan, registered in Bangkok, was en route to a funeral ceremony in the village of Yod, when a dog suddenly ran in front of the vehicle as it descended the mountain. The driver, attempting to avoid hitting the animal, lost control, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.

Fortunately, despite the van’s extensive damage, no one was seriously injured. Mr. Santipap, along with three other passengers, emerged from the crash almost without a scratch. Local residents quickly arrived at the scene and helped Mr. Santipap continue his journey to attend the funeral ceremony in Yod.

The candidate, known for his political campaign for the upcoming PAO election, was unharmed and was able to proceed with his obligations despite the frightening crash. The incident has been reported to authorities, and the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
