if you dont know Deepseek, it can perform as good and even better in some areas than OpenAI, Claude and Facebook's LlamaAI, and still spend 1/10 of the required processing power and energy.

 

It may sound like no big deal right? it is a huge deal! the power required for AI is really a lot, look at the price of an Nvidia H100 or H200 , with Deepeek I can run it on my mac!

Now Imagine a China with an unlimited source of clean energy. Just imagine, since today their energy requirement is so large, they need to burn coal. what will that mean for the rest of the world, china without need to use coal or hydro, and with new cheap electricity.

Because if they achieve that with Fusion energy, and I think they will very soon, it will put China in a position, kind of game over to the trade tariff wars...

A lot of it came from the opioid crisis started by Purdue Pharma who flooded the US with oxycontin somewhat legally supplied by pill mills.
