Can I access the Eva Air Lounge with premium economy? The website is ambiguous and talks about memberships, laurel or some such, not a member and not used their PE before.

Concur with above replies. Need to be minimum of silver card Eva/Star Alliance or holding a Royal Laurel class ticket to gain lounge access. Pity, because the BKK Eva Lounge is excellent.

7/11 it is then, thanks all

One other thing, not lounge related. Have you booked your seat yet? Usual layout is 2-4-2. If you go for a middle row aisle seat (D for sure & I think G) around rows 22/23/24 it is often my experience that I get the seat next to me free. It is a fixed armrest/drinks 'table' between seats so you can't sprawl out but it's still nice to have that extra personal space. If it is not a busy flight in Premium Economy it is also usual for the front row (20) seats not to be allocated. You can ask at check-in (I automatically get 20A if it hasn't already been allocated due to Gold Card) and you might get lucky.

Yes always book seats. One thing that put me off Qantas Q class is last time paid for seats and they cancelled one leg due to plane type change. Never told me and no option to reselect, no refund even though contested it for weeks. Never had booked special meal either
