To be honest, their behaviour was so horrible in the 90's, that people took pleasure when one of them got blocked at the airport in Malaysia. I think it was discretionary.

All Israelis are banned from entering Malaysia. Not discretionary. ALL.

That's hardly reliable evidence to back up the claim, which you didn't make in any case. It was @Jingthing. Malaysia will no doubt feel the wrath of the US who will block any move against Israel in the UN, although there have been many, which Israel simply ignores. The US is the enforcer standing behind the criminal Israeli government. A marriage made in Hell.

What claim? I was just recounting an experience travelling via Malaysia.

If you want to know about relations with Malaysia at the time, Mahathir bin Mohamad was PM.

Wrong, there are communities that live there but are anti-Zionist. You'll even see Palestinian flags there.

You know, as a Jew, that not all Jews approve of secular Zionism and see it as an abomination. As in life, many people are just sheep that just go along for the ride.

You're talking about a specific section of ultra Orthodox Jews less than one percent of the population. Yes they are anti Zionist. I never said that every single Israeli supports the right of Israel to exist. Obviously the vast majority do.

I was referring to the '90s. I think some got through back then, unfortunately. They were drug smuggling, people smuggling, working without permits, not paying their bills and trying to renegotiate after the fact. You'd get six of them blocking a table at a restaurant and just one of them would buy a 5 baht bottle of water to justify even having a table. The rest brought their own food in from outside. So the restaurant gets five baht and has to clean up the mess of six people afterwards. This is not a joke nor an exaggeration. The list goes on. You think those people changed their spots as they got older?

Yes, you did say every single Israeli.

Now, not unexpectedly, you try to move the goalposts.

You certainly haven't changed your spots.

Malaysia and other countries even rejects non Israelis with Israeli stamps in their passports.

Good. At least they stand by their convictions, rather than selling out to the highest bidder, morals be damned.

They don't support the right of Israel to exist. It does exist.

They support the right of Israel to exist. Just not the 'Israel' that was created out of violence. Word play won't help you and your name calling just shows the paucity of your arguments.

They don't support the false Israel, created out of violence.

Nope. They do support the right of Israel to exist, just not THAT format.

Then we have a difference of opinion don't we? No need for your all too predictable name calling.

More lies.

You falsely accused me of saying ALL Israelis are pro Zionist.

I did NOT.

What I actually said.

Any Israeli citizen including Arab ones that supports the right of Israel to exist supports Zionism.

Malaysia for example opposes Israel's right to exist.

Raiding hospitals back home.

And abroad.

Like they're the same thing.

Obviously some people are consumed by irrational hatred.

It's being reported elsewhere they've been deported.

They should have been fined a minimum of 30,000 baht for each offence, jailed for 2 months consecutively on each offence and then deported and banned from Thailand for life.

Straw man.... we are discussing Jews who live there who are anti-Zionist. Who do not believe that is the true form.

I know you are looking for a Jew hating angle, but you won't find one. Because it doesn't exist. Best you stick to the facts instead of trying to label and name call.

Anyway, It's probably all off-topic and you don't really have anything intelligent to add to the conversation and so for that reason....buh bye.

Worrying about injured comrade, the reasonable concern.

But must be discrete not to disturb doctors and nurses; other people's lives rest with them.

I'm not defending their behavior because you need to respect the culture when you travel but I can believe they had issues with the care.

Get over it, you are simply trying to distract and deflect with petty arguments. They are bone fide Jews who do not agree with what happened and what is happening. So none of your anti-semetic, anti-Jew nonsense here thank you.

Oh please stop this. Did you even read the Thai Examiner article? The doctors wrote about want to leave the area because of the behaviour of Israeli expats. This was not an isolated incident. Read the article and stop trying to defend the indefensible.

Again I never said that there weren't some anti Zionist Israelis.

I did.

I'm not defending their behavior.

If those individuals were deported, they deserve that.

Allow me to give you some random excerpts:

Quote

“I’m exhausted with these people. Pai is not worth living in,” explained a doctor before the police action. “I’m a doctor at a rural hospital in Pai District, a border province where many Israelis live.

Every day I go to check on them, I encounter the same problems over and over again,” he claimed. The claims by locals in Pai and the actions taken against the four Israeli men are bound to draw suspicion of anti-Semitism.
