Is Trump's Gaza idea possible?

It's easy to shoot down controversial ideas but when everything else has failed is this a possibility?

I am not a Trump supporter in general but I wonder if this idea could be a good one.

It will take another year or so to finish knocking it all down , then it would take a few years to remove all the rubble , say about five years , then they have to design the whole city, get plans drawn up by architects  , they have to find the funds to finance it .

   Its going to take 30-50 years to rebuild Gaza

Moving Palestinians against their will is illegal.

 

If you don't forcibly move them, I would rather see America than Isreal occupy Gaza.  Americans don't hate Arabs, Israeli's do.

Since he is not going to pay for it or put troops on the ground there, besides the international objections, I'd risk a guess and say no.

that's my view.

and even though the people there don't initially go along with it, that still doesnt necessarily mean it's a bad idea.

people are resistant to change.

but their culture will be preserved.

so they may thank trump later on.

It will be a criminal act. The plan falls down when the US leader says no US taxpayer money will be used. I don't see any pubicly listed bank willing to break international law to loan a developer.

 

The only way evacuation of a population for safety reasons could be considered legal is if the population was transferred to Israel. The act of sending them to a 3rd country is illegal.

Given every Arab country involved has rejected the idea, and none will take them, it seems that it's irrelevant if good or not. Short of resettling them in Israel they are there to stay, though I do not envy them trying to survive in a wasteland. I fear the greatest tragedy is yet to befall them.

   Putin has stated that he would be willing to take them in , Palestinians can move to Russia and join the army there
