About 49.8% of the people who voted in the last US election voted for Trump.  One can assume that most of these people knew his policies, and the majority knew what the impact of these policies would be.  They voted for pain, and now they will get it.

Probably realizing tariffs might, probably would cause a bit of inflation, but also realized, it certainly wouldn't be any worse if Harris won.  As last 4 years was 20+%, average of 5+% a year.

 

His other policies, that he's actually doing, will help offset the pain.   If all goes as theorized, over the next 12 years, then maybe some manufacturing will return, and the economy will be productive with new jobs & better salaries.

I imagine he was.

 

I do seem to recall a big fuss being made prior to the election about inflation along with promises to bring due tge price of groceries, eggs in particular.

 

I’ve no heard of much progress being made on that.
