Russian Airline Flight Makes Emergency Landing at BKK After Circling for 3 Hours
But they need to comply with IATA regulations to maintain their ability to fly on international routes and an IATA inspector or even local regulatory authority can carry out an inspection at an international airport and ground an aircraft if it fails to meet international requirements - even a sanctioned nation would want to avoid that -

Donald......and the rest of the world.
Currently, Donalds approval rating is around 53 % in the US, while the rest of the "western world" wonders how something like this could have happened. Wondering how a guy can put "the western alliance" in jeopardy that has benefitted all the members of this alliance since WW2. In Europe, the Person that is named Donald J.Trump is being considered as a pompous, erratic, overbearing character. If not for his money and fame, he would be spending his time in a psychiatric institution for his own good. General consensus. Europeans are still puzzeled: What is so terribly wrong with the political/economical system in the US, that has elevated Donald into the highest office that this nation has to offer? Me, and the overwhelming majority of Europeans would just like to know why the American electorate came to the conclusion, that the time is ripe for a person like Donald. Or, in other words: What is so terribly wrong in the US that made them vote for Donald? I look foreward to many contributions from US posters. The more, the better. It might help Europeans to better understand what is happening in the US. Europeans (and the rest of the "free world) hunger for an explanation, boiling down to 1 word = WHY? -

Nightmare at the Prachuap tax office
My Thai assistant tried this number several times today, but could not get through. I think the deluge of uncertainty is, as predicted, overwhelming TRD. Hitherto, it has been possible to get through quite easily. The consistency of correct replies has however been proving that they are completely inconsistent. Even within Bangkok, even with the same District. It's a complete manure show. Who'd have thunk it? As my assistant said, when they realise that they have begun something universally unworkable, they will probably begin to drop it. But that will have to wait until things pan out, leading up to and beyond 31st March 2025. I am ready to file online; my return is completed and saved. It's all teed up, but I'm waiting to see what may or may not change before 31 March. I'm sure the system will handle a flood of additional filings in a short space of time.😉 -

Gulf of America Day
Coincidently, wife chit chatting with Sis in Law, lives at Bakersfield, CA, USA, and did get on the subject of egg prices. No, don't know how, but, stated eggs now $.27, for one egg. I'm like, no way. OK, CA, so maybe. Quick Google 'egg price Walmart' .. ... Holy Crap ... way Also coincidently, we bought eggs today (we eat a lot of), and ... $4.19 / ฿143 for tray of 30. $4.23 @ Walmart ... 6 eggs And not much difference, savings, if buying a dozen or 30 eggs, WTF Thankfully for her brother & SIL, they raise chickens for the eggs, at the restaurant the run, at Bakersfield. They culled chickens ? Unbelievable ...
