Cambodia opens new airport near Angkor Wat amid low tourism numbers
Just wanted to add that you need to carry your luggages into a special room when checking for departure. Luggages are open and checked for eventual forbidden items. It seems that no scanners have been installed making the checking process long and tedious. -

Why is All the Hate Towards Russia and Not China?
Perhaps because Putin is a serial killing despot? He seems to love executing women and children. As far as Russia goes what can one say about Putin and the Kremlin? Corrupt beyond that the wildest reaches of any imagination, morally bankrupt serial killers, state sanctioned sports doping programs, a parasite nation, to a staggering degree. However, China does not wear their power lightly. With China it is a one way street. Ever tried to sell an item and send it to China? Nearly impossible. All imports are govt. controlled. It is all about exporting anything and everything they can and very selective importing. A highly controlled market with thousands of companies getting govt. subsidies. They don't believe in a level playing field, nor playing fair. Closer ties to China are not a good idea. They are up to no good. Their intentions are heinous. Their desire for power and dominnance knows no bounds. They cannot and should not be trusted. They are NOT a reliable ally, and are not a good or trustworthy world power. They are only one step above Russia, on the trust scale. Worldwide slavery, and organ harvesting? No thanks Xi. However, it does scare me to think of which nation may take the place of the US, when the time comes. As we know right now the US is not a dependable ally, with the Goomba leading the country, but this shall pass too. It definitely will not be Russia (they are relatively insignificant economically), and I sure hope it will not be China, as they are not exactly a beacon of morality, and have been substantially more of a bully on the world stage, and do not wear their power lightly. Also, in my opinion, the government there is significantly more morally bankrupt than the US. And that is saying alot. But the Russian and the Chinese people for the most part are fairly rude, but the Russians are significantly nastier and less pleasant to be around. -

So whats your favorite flavor ? _ Thai or Fillipino ?
Here you go with that "funky smell" narrative again LOL, something I've never noticed on either side and also something I've never seen mentioned until I came across a post of yours in another thread. You probably came across some smelly ones, and assumed they are all the same. Regarding cheating, if you chose a bar girl, sex is business and they need to be paid. Why would you expect a girl with extensive sexual experience to be faithful? You're being compared with dozens or maybe hundreds of other men. That would include younger studs that older expats could not match. There's a very good chance you're boring by comparison. You might be smelly yourself. It's far more likely a sweaty expat is smelly than the girls. If you choose a non-bargirl who hasn't been around you shouldn't have a problem, as long as they are with you for love and not money. I've never had a problem with Thai girls or Filipinas cheating on me. I'm talking about serious partners here. -

Welcome to Thailand! Tourist's First Visit to Pattaya Ends in Theft
That would have been the army. I witnessed a shootout on the streets by some bank robbers, from the army, in the early 90's in Manila: scary place. We were locked in the guest house when I got there, steel cage round it, never seen anything like that before. It's nowhere near like that now though. -
