Where is this utopia in Thailand, with low tourists, but still enough culture, entertainment, amenities, infrustructure around to enjoy.

Get out and tour, I am NOT your guide, but Hua Hin, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Mukdahan, Non Khai, Kanchanaburi, Si sa ket, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani... just a little bit of research might, I do say MIGHT, make you a little smarter... Now, go and google... it's not hard to do.

In other news:

Suvarnabhumi airport purchases large stock of Zimmer frames and wheelchairs to cope with expected influx of elderly tourists.

This is expected to speed up their passage through immigration, and avoid large queues.

Any seniors in wheelchairs should steer clear of Thailand, it is not even remotely handicap accessible or friendly.

Well, Thailand has targeted just about everyone now.

Maybe they should target the dead next.

Cremate your loved ones in a beautiful ceremony at one of the countries many wats , mosques and churches.

Did the ppl proposing to speed up seniors by giving them a Zimmer frame ever use one I wonder? It speeds nobody up but slows you down.

Even though it may be expensive, be sure to have medical health insurance coverage for your time in Thailand

or anywhere you go. I had a heart attack when I was in Thailand  and it cost the insurance company nearly 400 thousand baht to

cover my operation and hospital stay in a private hospital in Bangkok.

Per the article, I'm not seeing any infrastructure improvements being made in booming Pattaya.  Meanwhile, there are maybe a dozen mega projects under construction or on the drawing boards--with seemingly a new one announced every other day.  When completed, these huge projects will be dumping even more vehicles on to the already severely congested roads.   Pattaya really needs to be doing massive road improvements but, instead, is doing very little, with the do-nothing administration in place now.

I don't think senior tourist will be very positive about their stay.

Ah, breathing is over-rated!

Hard for them.
