Featured Replies

Hello, what is the deadline to declare your overseas income and pay the tax for foreigners living in Thailand ? What are the penalties for declaring or paying late please ?

Cheers

No one has to declare "overseas income" or pay tax on it.

One has to declare assessable income that is remitted to Thailand if one is a tax resident of Thailand (in country more than 179 days per year.)  The deadline for filing a tax return is 31 March 2025 for tax year 2024.

The penalty is 1.5% surcharge per month on any taxes owed, on top of any fines that may (or may not) be levied.
