From the BBC today:-

"A 19-year-old woman has died after she was attacked by a dog believed to be an XL bully, police have said.

Two people have been arrested following the attack at about 19:00 GMT on Wednesday at a property on Cobhorn Drive, south Bristol."

And  this is why such dogs are banned in the UK and other civilised countries - when will Thailand follow suit with a similar ban - or does Buddhism come first?

We have an English Bulldog across the street -- always penned but when left alone every day, the dog lets loose an existential howl if left alone too long. The neighbors have to listen to the dog, but the owners are spared.

In USofA Denver there is a story now of 2 English Bulldog puppies being stolen from a pet store -- valued at $4300 EACH.

I think the fault lies in the owners, not the dogs.

Rubbish! These are unpredictable killing machines! Bred to kill and will even turn on their own masters in an instant!

Just 2 examples:-

A temple in Nonthaburi became the site of unimaginable horror when a pitbull viciously attacked and killed a monk. The tragic incident unfolded in the early hours of today, January 21, leaving the temple community in shock and mourning

"Giant, aged 2, the Pit Bull breed or Ban Dog that savaged its owner to death last week has been taken to his funeral in Pattaya.

He took part in a ceremony called "khor khama" in which he apologized to the corpse."

***STOP PRESS***!

From today's headlines in AseanNow:-

"A six-year-old girl is fighting for her life after being viciously attacked by a pit bull in her home in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi. The dog dragged the child from her bed, inflicting severe injuries to her neck and head, tearing off the skin and exposing parts of her skull. She remains in intensive care at Pak Kret Hospital."

You'll probably say it was the owner's fault because he didn't have the dog chained up!!!

They can't even ban soi dogs, wait until the Pitty/Xl genes get into the soi dog pool and people are being killed everyday, then they might round a few up.
