Travelers heading through Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport should brace for possible flight disruptions due to a Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) air show. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and Nok Air recommend checking in at least three hours early on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (March 5, 7, and 8).

The RTAF is celebrating its 88th anniversary with air shows scheduled for Friday and Saturday, and practice sessions on Wednesday. This will temporarily close airspace, potentially causing flight delays.

The CAAT advises travelers to stay updated with their airlines. If any schedule changes occur, airlines are expected to promptly inform passengers and offer easy rebooking options and adequate care for those facing delays.

To help ease congestion, destination airports may extend their operating hours. Passengers are urged to remain alert and follow the latest updates from their carriers. Should issues arise, complaints can be submitted at their website, reported The Nation.

Amazing Thailand, don't worry about inconveniencing thousands of tourist - run your kiddies show and bugger everybody else.

These displays have been held for years and years. Disruption is usually minimal.

The rehearsals get pretty noisy when fighter jets fly low at speed above your house. The locals seem to love it.

If the flights will be delayed, why are we getting there early? 🤔
