Europe's Fractured Response to Ukraine Crisis Faces Critical Test

If Ole Bone Spurs wants to withdraw forces from Europe, then the bases closest to Russia should run away, sorry, make a strategic withdrawal, first. Europe must get its act together (although people will complain about spending money on weapons, there isn't much choice).

It’s good to see Starmer encouraging European leaders to come in line whilst keeping the mad MAGA at bay with diplomacy.

I agree with Olav above that US should be told to get the feck out of Europe but it’s obvious that Lame Duck Donny’s ego won’t allow that to happen.

There are 3 possible short term outcomes here:

1. Europe stands firm and Putin backs down.

2. Ukraine gives in to the threats and intimidation from US over mineral rights in return for armaments.

3. In the event that *2 happens, Lame Duck Donny convinces his master Vlad the Insaner to stop being beastly to other sovereign nations (at least until Donny’s out of office).

I’ll go with *1

The coming weeks will be crucial. Europe must prove—both to Washington and to Moscow—that it can act decisively. If its leaders fail, the repercussions could extend far beyond Ukraine, reshaping the balance of power on the continent for years to come.

This what happens when you kick the can down the road. Eventually the road ends. If this were to get scaled up to WWIII America and the UK would end it but this time you lot may not get the continent back since you've mismanaged it for 80 yrs.
