I meet people in real life everyday. Thais all use Line. The best way to meet people is to talk to people in real life.

NoNo, that is not what I mean if you talk to somebody in a different country, let's say you live in Latvia and you talked to someone from any other country, how many have you met in real life?

I'm not sure. Perhaps I have and just don't know it.  On the other hand, all things considered, I probably wouldn't want to meet any of them. A few months ago, I had the occasion to be driven down Soi Bukaow during the late afternoon.  Along the way, I saw all sort of characters I'd rather have nothing whatever to do with, in any way shape or form.  Guys with tattoos all over, wife beater shirts and big fat bellies hanging down.  And they're there because they want to soak up Thai "culture"?  I think I'll pass.
