800k Baht for retirement visa, bank book entries question.
Thank you for confirming this. I was told by numerous people (an agent and a CW IO) that I could not get a retirement extension using my Non-B visa. It is good to hear confirmation that someone has done it with a Non-B. Sounds like immigration just wants to create more business for itself (in my case). -

Greetings once again. On Thursday 6 March, the Consular Team of the British Embassy Bangkok hosted the annual Consular Contacts Reception at The British Club. The purpose of the event was to recognise and thank stakeholders from both the private and government sector who have worked with the Consular team on providing support to vulnerable British nationals in Thailand. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the following contacts who have been particularly helpful in working with the team to help British nationals. Nominations: Tourist Police Knight Asia Ministry of Justice - Department of Corrections Immigration Detention Centre Tourist Assistance Centre Somdej Chao Phraya Institute of Psychiatry Samitivej Srinakkharin Banglamung hospital Yoodee Nursing Home Living Well care home Klong Prem prison Bangkok Remand Prison UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific Another highlight of the event was the speech delivered by Deputy Head of Mission (DHM), David Thomas, who reflected on the remarkable 170-year diplomatic relationship between Thailand and United Kingdom. DHM also noted that the dedication of our contacts demonstrated the strength of the relationship between two countries. The reception was an opportunity for Consular officers to network and have informal discussions with contacts about collaboration. Wonder if SAIC's pick up will make an appearance at auto show. I bit too plush for me, and priced accordingly, ฿2-2.5M, from online reports. Waiting for something around ฿700k w/60kWh battery and more importantly, a proper 2m cargo bed. Don't need another SUV with small cargo bed, that my wife can't even stretch out on. Thailand Cracks Down on Vapes with Severe Penalties and Public Reporting
Any time you fine or, and imprison someone for smoking a vape when smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, breathing in smog, trucks chucking out black soot for exhaust and burnings that make the sky full of smoke and ash is no issue then this is only a poor man’s tax! Vaping got me off almost 20 years of smoking cigarettes yet according to the rules, I should be imprisoned and fined up to 500K THB which by thais standards is almost 3 years salary at 15k per month! That’s not only a ridiculous amount to fine but could create a life threatening situation which just penalises the poor plus the night end scale of the fines seems to be geared towards “rich” tourists as we have seen in the past! you can’t have smoke without fire as you can’t smoke without there being vapes so best stop with the government overreach unless they go after any and all smoking or. One at all but yo go it for the sake of the cigarettes cartels, that just shows who the government takes direction from as it dies not seem to be the people anymore ! The fact the government stopped lunch time alcohol sales to every one in the country just because they needed a way to control their own government workers from returning to work drunk is an embarrassment in itself. I’ve lost count how many government employees smoking vapes caught in camera yet nothing is done but the police are more than happy to extort thousands of THB against holidaying tourist that might not know better! -

As a Brit I choose to be on the left-wing of the political spectrum, in reality I'm a Atheist Humanitarian who thinks violence to ones fellow human beings is adherent, the right on the other hand, along with the current leadership of the USA offer no hope for peace in this world because in my opinion it is all me me me, we're right and everyone else is wrong, and the little people or people that you are not fans of do not matter to you. If it's any consolation your previous leaders are not much better, Capitalism making the rich richer and a few crumbs for the less unfortunates, not everyone can make it in this life, so where's the humanity of this World? And ffs don't start me off on religion, that could be the cause of the end of civilisation as we know it, another con trick, for the masses.
