Yes I have one, well worth it, stay in your air con home and go for a walk...

Dont buy cheap and the cheap ones are often narrow, I bought mine second hand in Pattaya payed 15,000 for it, would retail somewhere 35,000 plus, not a gym one but not far off.

With the pollution levels, it is no longer safe to walk outside for an extended time when exercising.

I am thinking about one of these for the 2-3 months of air pollution. I

My questions are ..... has anyone bought one? Are they easy to use ? Are they reliable?

Many thanks for any and all opinions based on actually owning one. 🙂

I'm an avid treadmill user and have been since 2008.  Walking pads are great but eventually you might want to increase effort and hard to do with a walking pad.  Problem though is that home treadmills/walking pads are not durable unless you spend 100k+. You might get lucky but I've burned through them until I changed to only incline usage which uses very little power and impact forces.

At 10% inclines even a cheap(6k baht) treadmills I bought to put in a camper  and used 10+ hours a week lasted 3+ years and would have lasted longer if I didn't leave outside on occasion where it got rained on. It literally used less than 10 watts of power at 15% inclines because the user and gravity is producing most of the  belt rotating power needs.

I bought during covid in 2020 to travel with in my camper and it is no longer available on Lazada. Assume the Chinese company went bankrupt. I would buy a treadmill that doesn't incline. Put bricks or anything that will put it an incline.  The incline motors are another headache so this eliminates the incline motor ( still will have a belt motor).

I have bought my last 2 treadmills on Lazada and only bought models with at least a couple hundred reviews.  Ignore the 5 star reviews and read the rest.  My current treadmill (10k baht) looks good and has been great.  I wanted a treadmill that could be operated by bluetooth because usually the electronic speed and incline buttons malfunction before the motors.  With bluetooth you don't need buttons.  This treadmill also is no longer available on Lazada.  The buttons stopped working a year ago but the bluetooth functionality has been great.

If you keep it around 10% and you are under 100 kilo, a 1.5 continues horse power motor should be sufficient.

Here is a treadmill that looks identical to the treadmill that was in the camper.  Go with the highest HP motor which is 4 hp but probably 1.5 continues HP.

It is tiny but another advantage of using it at steep inclines is your stride is short and no need for a long belt.  Make sure you buy belt lube and put in under the belt monthly.

Sorry for asking again. Where would I order belt lube?

Many thanks for your patience. 🙂

I use the treadmill about 10 hours a week and put almost a full bottle under the belt each month.  If you use it for 3-5 hours you could probably do it once every 2 months but it is only 59 baht a bottle. You can google how to apply it or just do it like I do. Cup my hand and squeeze about 1/3 the bottle into cupped hand.   Start rubbing on the top of the board under the belt and work your way to the bottom with the rest of the bottle.  It is messy but a only take a few minutes to get 90% of the silicone off your arms and the rest seems to disappear in an hour or two.

It is boring after a week or two so better lineup some media to consume.  I watch UFC and listen to audio books.
