Who's still thinking of buying a high rise condo after the earthquake?
Earthquake is an insurable peril, although coverage can be limited or more expensive in some high risk areas due to lack of insurance capacity. So far, most insurers in Thailand have offered property insurance including earthquake coverage up to the full value of the sum insured for buildings and contents. We'll see if Friday's event changes that in the future. -

Unsafe Condos In Bangkok?
I wouldn't take too much notice of the numbers. The BMA's Traffy Fondue is open to anyone to send coordinates and pictures of their buildings and the BMA will send someone to evaluate it for free. I suspect most of them will be cosmetic damage (we've never experienced anything like this before in Bangkok and people are understandably scared). So having 700 on the list means nothing. Obviously there is damage to buildings. It remains to be seen if any are structural and, if so, when they were built. For now I am reserving judgement as should everyone else. Wait and see. -

Does this online community make you feel very happy and fulfilled?
There is a new pest in the soapbox. Made over 70 posts in his first 24 hours. Could be another ban and resurrection? More likely a new pest though cause this new one is more articulate. -

Healthy 1 year old girl dies of multi seizures less than 12 hours after receiving 6 vaccines
I wonder if there is an anti-leftism vaccine? The world would be a much better place with it.
