Yes, but also relative if you actually do as they say.   I rarely did, so govt had minimal effect on me.

Many adhere to their policies and advice, paying the price for their lack of free thinking and independence from govt.

We don´t need to do that. The point here is that you are asking why so many needs to talk politics in Thailand, and think there are better things to do. Still you are in almost every political thread. Do you understand how silly that sounds and looks?

I say very little boy.

It's a response to you when I said........"US politics affects the world, so they are all part of it.", and you said      ,"It has never affected me. Bush and his Iraq war had the biggest impact but still no real impact on daily life", after your question of why people move to Thailand and still talk politics, which , meaning US politics, affects the world

Girl, you don't do self-awareness do you. Don't worry, you're not alone. Lack of self-awareness is an affliction suffered by all MAGA cultist, and that's what leads to the staggering amount of hypocrisy among you.

Everything is affected by the government, whether it's local or overseas, it affects everyone, unless of course you live on North Sentinel Island where no one's allowed and they have their own lives with no interference.

I find it extremely interesting that you have a troll user name and avatar and add nothing to the forum other than screeching ad hominems.

The fact that you find me extremely interesting if find mildly interesting. I also feel a bit sorry for you because that indicates you live a pretty empty life.

Maybe go and have a chat with your lefty eurotrash friends?

PS. Out of curiosity, how do you think they would describe you?

Money drives it

Take away money and all that's left is farmers who use seeds from harvested crops to plant new crops, man-made nets to catch fish to eat, spears and homemade bow and arrows to shoot game, houses made by plants and trees, people who talk to each other in person, walk many miles to visit family and friends, no more traffic accidents except drunks on bicycles, homicides like the old days, with knives, rocks and pitchforks because someone stole your crops, and more deaths because the doctors and medicines are too far away to help.
