I ordered some gear from AliExpress.

They said they tried to deliver it (or their Thailand freight company Flash), but we weren't home, so now they say wrong address.

I contacted the supplier in China and they said try the post office, but not there.

So what's the use of the tracking number if no one knows where the parcel is or no one can tell me who the local deliver people are?

Most of our parcels come via Flash, so I suppose a trip to their office is needed.

BUT, why can't I find the parcel from the tracking number?

When this happens I ask Wife to phone Flash and ask where it is. They usually deliver the next day. I think tracking number change when parcel arrive in Thailand, not same as Aliexpress number.

AliExpress only pay the supplier from ESCROW when you confirm delivery (be aware there is a time limit after which delivery is automatically confirmed so get in there whilst the iron is hot).

If nobody is being responsive file a non-delivery dispute with Ali.

Note. I've never actually had to do this but when wrong stuff has arrived Ali have been pretty good.

Went to the local FLASH mob and they checked the number which ended up nowhere, so they said the parcel has been sent back to China.

I had my wife's old phone number in the delivery address, phone etc.

FLASH said if you don't answer the phone or number wrong, then the parcel doesn't get delivered but sent back.

Bugger.

I have never had a package go totally missing, I have had hundreds)

However I have had a few that were marked as delivered when they hadn’t been, the reason for this is that the local agents (flash drivers) have a number of packages to deliver and if they start to run late the

loose money.

In each case the actual delivery came a day or so late. The first time this happened I queried the non delivery with AliExpress and the courier (flash express driver) came to talk with SWMBO they were extremely worried as non delivery is regarded a theft and they could loose their contract with Flash

The do and often orders are consolidated

FWIW the 17Track app is excellent for AliExpress and Lazada

Yup, it is imperative that they have the correct contact details otherwise ...

Before I had cash on delivery but this time I paid first. Maybe they try harder with CoD and B4500 but not if they have the money already.

First time with this problem and first time cash given before goods received.

Stupid Farang.
