One of the main tenets of the sanctuary laws is that the cops won't report them to ICE after they've been arrested for crimes.  So the ones being protected are criminals, and not just for crossing the border.

I can only presume that the citizens in these sanctuary cities voted for their local representatives and are in favour of the policies (that they voted for).

Remove federal funding from too many states/cities and they might start to think that they do not need a federation at all...

Trying that would result in losing federal voting rights and eliminate their positions/reps in both houses. Starting to sound like a good idea. Those lame dickheads in Colorado are trying to pass a new state law that would make parents guilty of child abuse for failing to properly identify your child's gender. If the school officials disagree with a parent, the parent can have their child taken from them by the state.
