"I am afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos/videos of how violent he can be and all the bruises he bas left me.” Again you're wrong. Neither the US or El Salvador has any proof of any gang affiliation. As far as domestic violence is that grounds for sending a person to a concentration camp? He has no criminal record.

"Nevertheless, the judge presiding over Abrego Garcia’s 2019 case found enough evidence—based on the confidential source—to conclude that he was affiliated with the gang, a finding later upheld by another judge. This resulted in his being denied bail. During this time, he filed for asylum to avoid deportation to El Salvador, claiming his family had been targeted by Barrio-18, a rival gang."
swerve Posted April 18 Posted April 18 [sarcasm alert] This whole incident is so sad. Perhaps he can write a book about it. Or make a movie.

Yesterday, a Maryland jury found Rachel Morins killer, an illegal alien from El Salvador guilty in less than an hour. “Rachel Morin's killer was found guilty for her brutal murder,” said Secretary Noem. “This criminal illegal alien should have never been in our country in the first place. Rachel should still be here watching her five children grow up. She was a victim of open border policies that prioritized illegal aliens over the safety of American citizens. We hear far too much in the mainstream media about sob stories of gang members and criminal illegals and not enough about their victims.” Last week, Secretary Noem re-opened the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) office. This office was first launched in 2017 by the Trump administration as a dedicated resource for those who have been victimized by crime that has a nexus to immigration. The Biden Administration shuttered the office, leaving victims and their families without access to key resources and support services. Who's due process of the law, Trump's or democrats? I know they're not the same illegals but do the people in MD really want him back?

In fact I find myself wondering why so much money and effort was spent to get rid of someone like Garcia instead of focusing on those actually dangerous like Martinez-Hernandez.

I have a problem with the legality of HOW he was deported. Yes, I have read reports that he was not a saint and was probably going to end up deported. But they seem to have violated the system deporting him before due process here. I like rule of law and due process. On a side note it fascinates me how the left gloms onto figures as innocents when they wish to hate Trump or middle America. Like this guy a wife beater and probably MS-13 gang member. Or George Floyd another dirtbag. Or Michael Brown whose hands were not up when he was shot. At least they could recognize Abrego isn't the kind of refugee we want to come to America. And he was eventually going to be deported.

Whatever that judge decided back then, yes on absurdly weak evidence, does not mean he deserved to be sent to a concentration camp. El Salvador is sovereign and can do what it wants to it's own citizens in El Salvador to gang members, but El Salvador had nothing to do with determining if Garcia was a gang member or not. The ONLY reason Garcia is in a concentration camp now is because the Trump regime wants to pay for that. One phone call and he's out. Also of course ALL of the Venezuelans in the concentration camp there were put there ILLEGALLY and also without due process. Americans can live under the constitution and rule of law or not and tragically the maga fascists are embracing total disregard for the law and support defying court orders. Now fascist Trump is working on sending U.S. citizens to offshore concentration camps.
