You can see Thai drivers driving (drifting) from shoulder to shoulder in the mountain portion of Highway 11 between Lamphun and Lampang all the time. More like the norm than the exception.  They aren't "foreigners" so no one give a hoot.

Well, even truckdrivers do this without giving a sign. Got many dangerous situations already.

Driving in a foreign country and trying stunts like this is just plain stupid. Or as the new phrase is

totally WOKE.  Deport this bum, Thailand does not need people like him. In my opinion.

You're confusing "swerving out of control" with "drifting".

One of my favorite afternoons in Songkhla was watching the drift races.  Highly recommended as Thailand has some excellent drift drivers and cars, in addition to the swervers we see every day.

Well now, we can't deport Thais, can we? Nor do we want to. Misbehaving foreigners, however, should be shown the door.

How do they finance their tires steale them?

Thais can be jailed.

I know what you mean. The main highway between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, along the Lampang to Lamphun section. Thais don't know how to drive along mountainous roads. Since the majority of Thais live in flat cities with straight roads, they can't handle winding, mountainous roads.
