Three people in the USA are sitting on more cash than 150 million Americans at the bottom of the totem pole. If you can't see anything wrong with that, your values are skewed.

In Australia, negative gearing and capital gains discount have distorted the housing market beyond recognition. It took me 18 months to pay off my mortgage, now it takes a lifetime.

Of course, there are people who think that's OK. Greedy b@stards. Welcome to the club.

Australia was the country of the fair go. No longer.

I don't really care about the situation in the USA.

Australia is rapidly becoming a nation of bludgers totally dependent on the government. Look at how the NDIS " providers" have exploded.

I know one bloke that takes his mate out fishing for the weekend. The mate is in a wheelchair after he crashed his car whilst drunk. The NDIS pay $80 an hour so they can smoke dope and get pissed while fishing. You think that is ok? I don't

Child support cuts out for a couple when their combined income is around $500,000. Ridiculous amount. Why would they need subsidised child care on that wage.

Work hard and save money and you are demonised as some sort of entitled person.

I don't envy the rich as they worked for their money, nobody gave it to them. Sure someone's grandparents may have worked hard and the money comes down through the generations. I see nothing wrong with that.

They also employ people.

Farmers now rely on backpackers to work for them. The city based bludgers will not work, and why should they when the government gives out free money.

Bill Shorten went to an election looking for a mandate to roll negative gearing back.  People voted against it.  Too many on the property gravy train now.

One third of the country works to support the other two thirds.  No wonder such a small population is 1 trillion dollars in debt, and it's rising, rapidly.

S&P issued a warning last week.  If Australia loses its AAA credit rating, it will be 15 baht to $1AUD.

The last time I was in debt was 1974.

On the basis of a single statistical sample, you are claiming Australia is becoming a nation of dole bludgers. Fact: Less than 10% of the population of working age are on income support, 90% are working. Some people still swallow Coalition BS, however. War on the poor.

I don't mind the rich getting rich legitimately. I also don't mind them passing their wealth down to new generations.

It's when they play the tax system with negative gearing, superannuation, and family trusts that I say whoa.

I know a multi-millionaire who has boasted of how his tax accountant obtained a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card for him. THAT is bludging off the system.

Shorten got rolled by Morrison when he proposed sweeping reforms in that area. Morrison brought in tax cuts for people who needed them like a motorbike needs an ashtray.
