Yup sure feels like getting robbed by a scoundrel!!every time folks go buy something.the trump tax is becoming a popular saying here in the states.

Try not to let your ignorance overemphasize consumer costs without acknowledging potential benefits like job creation or manufacturing growth, supported by studies showing tariffs reshored industries in Trump’s first term. You are trending with "I (Tug) got NOTHING, except behavior shaping Trump hatred. Too bad your hero, Biden, you know that demented guy too mentally unfit to face espionage indictment for selling classified information failed so miserably. Don't worry, Trump's only 109 days in now, with about 1352 days remaining. You have a lot of Trumps WINNING to look forward to or, perhaps just more hatred and butt-hurt. Your call....LOL.

Trump and his goons likely begged China for these meetings. He has secured zero trade deals to date and is starting to look ignorant and clueless, to a stunning degree.    The US needs China

  • Trump has already lost face because XJP has refused to call and beg for tariff reductions.    The drop in Chinese imports will soon cause shortages and price increases in the US -- then Trum

  • Breaking: Xi forces USA to come crawling for a deal.

How about this....is this WINNING for America!

Or, do you prefer Biden and his chronic unparalleled failures and destruction (Including gov't waste, fraud & abuse) he reigned on America?

What the Chinese are coming to negotiate? Really?

I thought the Nevertrumpers said China doesn't need the US and would refuse to negotiate?

So you got it all wrong again? And I was right yet again?

So much winning....

I guess you missed the part about this meeting us for de-escalation talks not a trade deal?

Not sure where you get your facts  ut you do like to put a trumpist twist on them dont you?

Typical trump play book create a problem we’re none existed before then claim he solved it personally I hope it’s beneficial to both our country’s and helps rectify the economic hardships and chaos created by Donald trump.

Trump is getting some good results 100 days in. Could be worse, a LOT WORSE as was the case with biden and his fake, deceptive jobs reports.

I wonder if they'll be like little kids that will eventually quit whining and fall asleep when they don't get their way.

Stocks Rise as Trump Says ‘Buy’ Before China Talks

I guess you won't be buying then, Dan?

Lol

I see this thread has descended into the usual infantility. But but but... Biden... when things aren't looking too good and then blame the other side for your own infantile remarks.

It's like the Trumpettes cannot have a discussion with regard the facts on the ground. Cannot discuss anything without abuse.

Right now it's just de-escalation talks. But the Trumpettes treat it like a football match and claim everything as a win. It's beyond pathetic. They need a good dose of reality, as opposed to this ridiculous hyperbole and abuse in every thread they inhabit.

What does Trump talking about stocks have to do with this topic about deescalating the hostilities with china? You have no valid response.

When you cant answer you change the subject to something different. Typical nonsense that you and the cultist always post.

Will I buy, no need to, Im invested in more profitable assets without the risk Trump brings to the market.  If you want to chase stocks based on what a failure in multiple industries recommends you go right ahead.

So far there is talk of the U.S.A. adjusting their "unsustainable" tariffs to something like 54%. Otherwise there will be no orders leaving the ports for the U.S.A, the shelves will stay empty and the retailers will be angry. Perhaps one of the Trumpettes can explain the 'win' to us mere mortals.

Neither side clearly needs the other more—it’s a stalemate. The U.S. faces higher prices and supply chain chaos without China, while China risks job losses and economic contraction without U.S. market access. China’s trade diversification and political resilience give it an edge in enduring pain, but the U.S.’s consumer market is a bigger stick than China’s export reliance.

China can and will endure the pain. The US can't. Americans are way too soft. Empty shelves equals sacrifice. Not gonna happen. China has the stronger cards and they know it. They could crush Trump and the US. He will likely cave in.

The wife and I went shopping at our local Asian grocery store today restocking after our latest Thailand stay we paid 50$ more than 6 months ago on a 150$ purchase…thats our trump tax at work….real world personal experience.today trump is floating dropping the tariffs to 80% seems he’s starting to realize he has the tiger by the tail and is trying to find a way out of the problem HE CREATED instead of doing things like a normal government does.our Costco re stock we are seeing price creep 30 days ago I could buy a 2 piece hard lockable luggage set for 149$ the same set now is 200$.don’t kid yourself this trade war he created is fixing to blow up in his face……the problem is it’s the regular folks worldwide (including us American consumers) that are paying the price.
