Another example of the UK importing international conflicts onto the streets of Indigenous British people.

The history of the rise and fall of the British empire in India is fascinating, I recommend you look into it, you’ve obviously got some gaps in your knowledge to fill.

Some.fasinating history channels although they tend to skew the truth slightly. I

Its  the Muslims fault for attacking India recently in a terrorist attack .

I wonder whether the " Its not the Muslims fault for their terrorist attack, this war started in 1948 " mob will be out on force in this thread  ?

Desperate stuff Nick.

Back to what you said.

“Partition happened after Indian Independence from Scotland and England ”

Just admit you were wrong, it won’t hurt.

Partition happened the day after British forces left India in 1947 .

I have already provided the dates .

Anyway, lets keep to the current  story about what's happening today .

The Irish love going on about history and apportioning the blame to Brits for everything

I think there was a wee bit more to it than that.

Why don't you add some context?

...and now islamic blasphemy laws.

Today, a man was in court for burning a koran outside the Turkish Embassy in London. He was charged with 'harassing Islam and causing it alarm and distress'. I didn't realise you could do that to an abstract concept. 🤔

Scotland & England announced India independence in 1946 and the violence erupted when S&E departed India in 1947

Didn't Northern Ireland and Wales recognise Indian and Pakistani independence?

Wasn't it a colony?

India and Pakistan became fully independent in August 1947. India and Pakistan chose to go their separate ways. It was not a British decision.  The two countries have had 78 years to get their affairs in order. The current dispute is in respect to Kashmir, a majority muslim region that is occupied in large part by India. The Kashmir conflict is local and has nothing to do with the British.

The Pakistani and Bengali faux outrage is well practiced. They were last out in full force  last year  to harass and attack jewish and Israeli organizations and anyone else that the mobs assumed might have been jewish.  Soon it will be the Hindus turn to be targets of the attacks.

Pakistanis desecrating India's flag

They  have a lot of practice doing that. It's like a past time for them. It does beg the question why western nations give pakistan foreign aid.
