Yes, because they can. They're being protected by the IDF and seem to have the freedom to do and take as they please.

Yet from the same report:

"Upon receiving the report, IDF (Israel Defence Force) soldiers were dispatched to the scene. The suspects fled prior to the arrival of IDF soldiers," it said, adding that no injuries were reported and the incident was under review.

DUBLIN (Reuters) -Ireland's cabinet gave its formal backing on Tuesday to drafting legislation on restricting trade with Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, but the bill is unlikely to be passed by parliament until later in the year.

While Ireland does very little trade with the settlements, Prime Minister Micheal Martin said it was a "symbolic move" that follows its official recognition last year of a Palestinian state, alongside a small number of other European countries.

The bill, which would ban the import of goods from the settlements but is unlikely to include services, will be considered by a parliamentary committee in the coming weeks, Foreign Minister Simon Harris said.

Ireland to press ahead with trade ban on Israeli-occupied areas

An Israeli pregnant woman was murdered on the way to hospital to give birth , both the Woman and unborn baby were killed .

This is the response from the deceased woman's family and friends .

An unborn baby was murdered by Palestineians, this is the response

So what, 7 children were murdered by Israelis from the same family

It's the thought that counts. Israel becoming a pariah state under Netanyahu.

Israel said Thursday it would establish 22 Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, including the legalization of outposts already built without government authorization.

Israel captured the West Bank, along with the Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, in the 1967 Mideast war and the Palestinians want all three territories for their future state. Most of the international community views settlements as illegal and an obstacle to resolving the decades-old conflict.

Defence Minister Israel Katz said the settlement decision “strengthens our hold on Judea and Samaria,” using the biblical term for the West Bank, "anchors our historical right in the Land of Israel, and constitutes a crushing response to Palestinian terrorism.”

Under international law, an occupying power is obligated to protect civilians under its control.

Sarit Michaeli of B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights group: "Israel doesn't hold settlers accountable. On the contrary - settlers know that if they act violently, they'll receive support from all branches of the government. There's full impunity. In fact, it's more accurate to say settlers function as a branch of the government.

That is heartbreaking.

A cynical person could say "well, they lived on stolen land, they had it coming" or even joke about it like "yeah, but the settlers were using them as human shields, so that`s ok". followed by a "flatten the settlements!"

All I see, is a mourning family and Hananel Gez, a young father and husband in agony, who first lost his beloved wife, Tzeela Gez and after days of waiting for some good news from the hospital, was deprived of the hope, their baby might survive.

Their names should never be forgotten (I could not find the name of the baby, so I guess, the parents hadn't decided yet).

His pain his pain is unimaginable.

Now multiply that pain with 17.000.

That is the number of the dead kids in Gaza.

The 30 or more murdered kids on the festival on October 7, the Bibas boys, Ariel and Kfir, and now the Gez baby, all of them caused huge outcries in our countries.

And what is our reaction to 17,000 killed children – silence.

And this is what I fail to understand.

„If I were to remain silent, I would be guilty of complicity.“

Albert Einstein

Silence is complicity – and so is silencing.

That is nasty , saying the babies name shouldn't be forgotten and they saying you didn't know what the name was , then saying that the deceased Mother hadn't  decided on the babies a name (She is dead , so how could she ) .

   Sickening, but expected :

The decreased baby was called called Ravid Haim .

Died two weeks old .

His Mother was murdered whilst she was on the way to hospital to give birth.

Baby of pregnant terror victim dies after fighting for his life for two weeks

Ravid Haim was born by emergency C-section after his mother Tzeela Gez was shot and killed by a Palestinian terrorist in the West Bank when on her way to give birth

The baby of Tzeela Gez, who was shot and killed in a Palestinian terror attack in the northern West Bank earlier this month, died in the hospital after doctors struggled to keep him alive for the past 15 days, the Samaria Regional Council and the hospital announced Thursday morning

Buddy, something is seriously wrong with you.

You try everything to find the fly in the ointment and if you don't find one you put one in it yourself.

I mentioned the names of the Bibas brothers and the names of the Gez parents.

And now you call me nasty for not mentioning the name of the baby, completely ignoring that I clearly wrote, that I could not find it.

I read 3 articles about it

The New York Times

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/15/world/middleeast/west-bank-shooting-pregnant-woman.html

BBC

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgq89yd7p7o

and the Washington Post, where the article somehow has disappeared

https://www.washingtonpost.com/search/?query=israeli+pregnant+woman+killed

None of them mentioned the name of the baby.

So, they're all nasty, aren't they?

And I did not write that the mother hadn't decided yet.

I wrote I guess the parents hadn't decided yet

why do you intentionally quote me wrong?

And what does the question “she is dead so how could she” even mean?

Ever heard about parents who decide the names of their kids before birth?

And maybe the father named the baby afterwards.

Thank you very much for telling me the name

RAVID HAIM

I will remember it forever.

You blame me for not mentioning the name of 1 murdered kid, completely ignore, that I wrote, I could not find the name.

Then you do not say a single word about the 17.000 Palestinian children I mentioned.

And you call me nasty??

You seem to live by only two rules:

1. Israel is always right  and never does anything wrong

2. In case Israel does anything wrong, apply rule #1,

And everybody who does not live by these rules is automatically Hamas to you.

“Sickening but expected” says everything.

It doesn't matter what I write, you have judged me long time ago.

Now here's something for you to remember:

The names of 11.500 Palestinian children killed by Israeli attacks

Happy memorizing

You didn't even try and find the babies  name .

You wrote the Fathers name and a quick webserch of the Fathers name and the results bring up the babies name .

You didn't even make the slightest attempt to find the babies name and then wrote that *the babies name shouldn't be forgotten even though I don't know what the babies name is* .

That was a sly insult  .

Disgraceful
