Do you have any proof it isn't a bribe?

You made the claim of a bribe so the burden of proof is on you.

Nice try.

Despite your one intelligent reply earlier you seem to be descending downwards in similar fashion as the other left posters.

So you don't have proof it isn't a bribe. It sure looks like one on the face of it.

The US Constitution doesn't require proof of bribery. It forbids "emoluments", which can take many forms. This is one of them.

Are you saying people in the UK aren't getting arrested for social media posts? If you are I, and I'm guessing others on here would like to know your thinking on this. Surely people being arrested for social media posts is a curtailing of freedom of speech.

Some have been arrested for inciting violence amongst other things.

So just a blanket free for all? Please tell me you know there are restrictions on what you can say in every country on the planet. Surely you can't be that ignorant.

Stop trolling. It's very boring. It also shows a lack of intellectual prowess which is demonstrated in each and every post of yours..

I’m not the one claiming it’s a bribe, You are but have no proof.  So it’s not a bribe.

 I need to prove nothing.

What Trump doesn't realize is that this offer is just the Emir trolling him.

The Emir is saying "you poor bastard, your country can't afford to provide you with a decent plane. Let me give you one that I earned on the backs of the third-world laborers who worked in 50C temperatures to build monuments to my autocracy. Sure is a shame that you can't manage that".

And Trump is going to fall for this.

I'm concerned with what effect this bribe would have on Trump.

Best not to be concerned about that have never happened.

Pensioner arrested over 'thought crime' tweet as officers examine 'Brexity books and wife's shopping list'

Some exerts from the article:

A retired special constable has spoken out about free speech being under attack after he was detained over a social media post warning about anti-Semitism in Britain.

The officers arrived after Foulkes challenged a supporter of pro-Palestinian marches on X.

Foulkes had responded to a post from an account called "Mr Ethical" featuring a Palestinian flag, writing: "One step away from storming Heathrow looking for Jewish arrivals".

Without warning, the Metropolitan Police Intelligence Command had referred his post to Kent Police, citing "concerns around online content".

Foulkes was locked in a police cell for eight hours and questioned on suspicion of malicious communications.

Oh please, posting GB "News" is the most obvious thing ever - it is the most rabidly right wing broadcaster in the UK by far: like Fox News on anti-immigration, racist, right wing steroids. It also has a history of being fined and sued for breaches of impartiality, for breaching ethics standards, for using misleading graphics and fake statistics to link one certain ethnic group with certain types of crimes (and that was later deemed "inflammatory and misleading"). It has also faced issues with blatantly false reporting which it had to apologise for.

In short, it is a hideous, hate spreading channel and is not a serious source. No suprise you post the rubblish you do if this is where you get your "news".

However, Foulkes was genuinely arrested. What the GB News "article" fails to mention though is any context at all, just stupid quotes about "Brexity things". If you read the full context the post did seem to be a call to storm Heathrow and intercept Jews, so no surprise the police looked at it. However, eight hours does seem like too long to investigate and conclude that he actually wasn't making that call, and the police have publicly apologised. But incitement to violence is definitely a matter for the police to look at - just in this case they bungled it somewhat, mistakes can happen.

Even Foulkes realises this: On reflection he recognised it would have been better if he had made it clear he was challenging the original poster about their escalation of antisemitism, rather than it appearing as if he was the one who was planning action at Heathrow.

In 1862 President Lincoln was given a gift of an elephant tusk by King Mongkut of Siam ,

he was not allowed to keep it .. how things have changed ,  corruption  knows no bounds

in the Trump government

regards worgeordie

So why wasn't Lincoln in trouble?

Qatar is offering the plane, same as Siam offered Lincoln the elephant tusk.

When did trump accept the offer?   I haven't heard he accepted it..

I have no problem with it.

Trump has not taken the plane.

Trump can take the plane with Congressional approval.

Once again because this one simple fact cannot penetrate the rocks occupying leftists skulls on this thread:  Trump has not taken possession of any plane.

Well this Mega MAGA is thrilled that the Qatar has offered this beautiful plane to President Trump. Just think about the money that will be saved by the American taxpayers for not having Boeing bill the government. But of course the left wing zealots do not want to see President Trump have this plane because they believe in BIG government and soak the rich and sock it to the poor taxpayers.

How could it be a bribe or grift to Trump, the aircraft is going to the DoD, not Trump and will be mothballed to his presidential library in 2029 . It's a net benefit to the taxpayer who are getting a 4 or $500M donation from the jihadist over in Qatar. Trump is not a corrupt pay for play buffoon as in the case of Biden who sells out to his adversaries with his crime families pay for play schemes and even sells classified information for profit to a ghost writer.
