New reports are showing that the US has not suffered a negative reaction to Trumps policies and tariffs. Quite the contrary, Currently, the inflation rate has hit the lowest score since 2021.

This must seriously undermine anything negative the Dems and Trump haters use when trying to find negatives in everything Trump does.

A serious win for Trump if he can keep this rate down.

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi/news/458619

The annual inflation rate in the US eased to 2.3% in April 2025, the lowest since February 2021, from 2.4% in March and below forecasts of 2.4%.

Inflation always dives when people panic, tighten their belts and stop buying......supply and demand.

The real impact will be on the bottom line of companies having to hold prices down and/or offer discounts thus impacting their profitability........headline inflation under these circumstances is very misleading.

Out of the US. Others are as well because of the tariffs on their goods.

They don't need to be in the US to do it, they just need a post office. Trump is an economic moron.

You are not fooling anyone who a basic understanding of  the concept of inflation. The impact of inflation is not measured by the results of a few months. What you are suggesting is that there is a developing trend. What matters is year on year change. Anyone who does their food shopping will understand the impact of inflation, and what they will tell you is that, yes, the price of basics isn't soaring as fast as it was last year, but there are still some increases.  There are just so many price increases a producer and retailer can impose in a given period.

Need an example? US Egg prices have decreased an average  of 12% over the past month. You would probably claim this as a great victory. Unfortunately, egg prices remain significantly higher now than before the latest bird flu outbreak, and they cost 49% more than they did a year earlier. Eggs are still more expensive than when Trump took office.

When your trend  lasts for a year, then you can  celebrate.

Tell that to dock workers, grain farmers, Boeing, Ford, John Deere, poultry plants, Target, Walmart and anyone with a 401k. Trump is destroying the US economy because he is an idiot.

Not great but the train has not gotten to the bridge yet. The ports are empty and the Canadians just shut off the oil. Countries are organizing to bin the Dollar as the global currency and bypass SWIFT. The collapse has started because of a corrupt, arrogant, moron, Donald J. Trump.

Yeah... this rag is the only story about what you claim. https://unionrayo.com/en/farewell-to-dollar-11-countries-drop-it-2025/

What you fail to tell them is that it is B.S. Nothing has happened yet to de dollarize the world currency. In Fact. Only 11 countries are even considering it.

  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Moldova
  • Russia
  • Tajikistan
  • Turkmenistan
  • Uzbekistan
  • Ukraine

Hardly the world.

The story also goes on to tell you that this is only their intent. Nothing has happened and it would take a great deal and a long time to stop the dollar from being the world currency.

You should check your facts before you post rubbish scaremongering like your reply to Mike Hunt.
