In London, UK, by now, the major killers in and around the tube stations are the wonderful anti-terrorism police — but they are not always very choosy about whom they shoot!

Essential with the behaviour of passengers at the airport station.

What do these “passengers” do?
And Why only at this one station?

I ride the BTS often when I’m in Thailand.  Never witnessed any need for police protection.

BKK is not like NYC, A leftist led and controlled city where subway shovers, muggers, rapists turnstile jumpers, homeless, the insane, juvenile delinquents and criminal illegal aliens all have free reign to do as they please.

Wow! So You have been here for decades by now!
Back into the last century even?

Hell yeah dude, I remember 40 baht to dollar days. And the old Thermae. And the beer bars by the tracks. And coming in to DMK, no swampy.

No taxi meters.

But what is this: —

some way to carry heavy things around? Or what?

For the uneducated MRT is the Mass Rapid Transit Authority and BTS the Bangkok Mass Transit System.

I rode the BTS withing a few months of its opening. In all my years, I have never seen a cop on a train, or platform.

Same, opened in Dec and I came over just after New Year. In those days they used to have a festival at the World Trade Centre, always worth a couple of nights in Bangkok.

Girl I was with was scared to go on the BTS, fear of the unkown, and couldn't understand how I knew what to do with it being brand new.
