I am trying to setup a transfer of money from my Australian Bank to my Thai Bank, normally I use Wise but have decided to try direct from my NAB Bank to one of my Thai Banks.

In setting up the receiving bank details using my online Aus Bank account I would like to know what address for the Thai Bank to put in. My Thai Bank is in Robibnson in Surin so, do I put down the head office address and the Thai Bank Swift code for that office? I do not know my local banks branch code.

I am worried that if I send the money to head office I will be charged a transfer fee to send it to Surin.

Use the physical address of the Surin branch where your account is domiciled.

The SWIFT Code for Bangkok Bank (as an example) is BKKBTHBKXXX. (this is their head office SWIFT code, BBL doesn't allocate separate and distinct SWIFT codes to its other branches).

Your Surin Branch Code should be available in the first page of your bank book (upper left side with both BBL and BAY) and is also the first 3 digits of your account number.
