So Long And Thanks For All The Fish - Ukraine bombs Russian Nuclear Bombers

History's full of stories where the side that's already lost a war pulls out a desperate Hail Mary.

Like the V2, kamikazes, human wave attacks and FPV drones over Russia.  All they did was stiffen resolve and cause millions more unnecessary deaths.

These were not FPV drones. FPV drones are drones that use fibre optic cables which makes them immune to electronic counter measures.

Oh Ukraine is cowardly when they hit a military installation

Of course, it was a cowardly attack with drones. More like a terrorist attack.

The usual sneaky underhand terrorism Ukraine excels in.

The importance of hitting bombers is overstated.

As always the Western media has blown this "masterpiece" terrorist attack out of all proportion. It's Kursk offensive all over again, all showmanship with little gain for Ukraine, they're still losing big time on the battlefield where it counts, in Ukraine.

And of course Russia's vengeance will be terrible for Ukraine'.

I agree the loss of the planes is not a big issue, it's only 40 or so planes, not 400, as far as Pearl Harbours go this is anextra-mini micro Pearl Harbour, but still. The Ukrainians have escalated the war into Russian territory in a major way. That will seriously escalate matters. Russia will need to respond. Putin has to satisfy the voices inside Russia calling for vengeance.

The MAGA cultists all fall in line.

"Everything is NATO's / Zelensky's / The West's / Ukrainian Nazi's fault."

"Putin is a peaceful president who is a victim of Western aggression."

"Zelensky is starting World War 3."

Just keep repeating these ridiculous assertions from Trump's talking points. In the meantime, your hero is cooking up deals with Putin to enrich himself.

Nobody with the ability to think can believe these MAGA lies. War, started by and propagated by Putin, the aggressor, destroys everything. Putin could call a halt right now, if he so wished.

Russia fat grotesque big mouths keep threatening nukes beyond Ukraine. Go for it, your country and people will be destroyed worse then any place.

No they won't be destroyed because no Western country would dare retaliate against Russia for any reason, since they know Russia could annihilate them with nuclear strikes.

Why do you think Biden was so careful to avoid putting boots on the ground in Russia? Self preservation.

The fact that Macron was talking about French troops in Ukraine was not taken seriousy, nobody takes the ramblings of pseudyomacho seriously who gets slapped about by his Missus..

The Russian haters will be gleeful about this.  However, this puts us on the brink of a nuclear war this evening.  It will be interesting to see what shakes (thermonuclear-wise) in the next 24 hours.  Russian nuclear doctrine calls for a nuclear counter-attack as would a similar strike on US nuclear assets. Expect some kind of very bright fireworks tonight at least in Ukraine.  My guess is the US/NATO just got the world war that their insane Neo-con want so badly.  Hope we're all here tomorrow.  Even better - I hope this is fake news.  If not?  As Doug Adam's dolphins said in A Hitchhikers Guide To The Universe as the Earth is about to be destroyed, "So long and thanks for all the fish."

Anytime Russia is getting its ass kicked in some spectacular way the Putin simps always come out the same way:  "EsCaLaTiON!  Ww3!!! TeRroRiSM!"  And the rest of us just laugh and laugh at the prospect that Russia can do whatever it wants to Ukraine in this, its third invasion, but when Ukraine fights back it's somehow impermissible.

There is a 100% guarantee that the "bright fireworks" you gleefully anticipate will be 100% against civilian targets.  Prove me wrong after it happens.

A reminder that the only one who EVER threatens nukes is the guy who started this, and that he can end it at any time by simply... ending his third invasion.

The reason that "Biden put no boots on the ground in Russia" is because... the U.S. is not at war with Russia.  Literally the only people who say otherwise are the eager Western consumers of Russian agitprop.  They swallow it in spurts and then beg for more.

Who, with a source.

I bet ya NATO knew nothing of this

Well now NATOs attack do is off the leash.

Here, tell us, what Tactical interest  did this attack serve?

Let me guess. You're seriously asking me to post sources for an attack so secretly planned that Russia had no clue it was planned? Supposedly, it took 15 months to plan. Russia didn't have a clue, and yet you want me to post sources. LOL. If any sources were available, don't you think Russia would have seen them?  They aren't stupid.

Of course, it's no big secret that NATO has been involved all along. And only NATO has the technical expertise to accomplish such an attack.  I assume you understand why that is so.

As for a tactical purpose? Simple. Crazy madmen are desperately trying to start WWIII. And how better to do that than to attack Russia's nuclear deterrent forces deep within Russia?  And for all we know, this may have been just be the opening salvo of a larger operation. What's Russia supposed to do, sit back and wait for even more secret attacks on their strategic defenses?

So yes, for people intent on starting WWIII, it was a genius move.

Russia had to address the Ukraine problem to ensure it's own survival. NATO encroaching on the European plains further would have made Russia indefensible. For Russia a neutral Ukraine was a matter of existence but of course even Russia will not die for Ukraine, if the war should go really badly they woud just unpack the horror weapons and defeat Ukraine that way.  There is no need for that though since immediately  before this Ukrainian terrorist attack within Russia the Russian armed forces were winning  the real battles in Ukraine.

Great move by Putin, check out the Finnish/Russian border.

Remember last time Russia tried to invade Finland?

Talking about a very dumb move by Putin.

The reason the US does not risk a hot war with Russia is because the US does not want to die. The US knows if it escalated the war with Russia into a hot war the US risks nuclear war.

That is the real reason Biden did not put troops on the ground. Self preservation.

No Western country will retaliate against Russia with a hot war, because they don't want to die. No matter what Russia does in Ukraine. Russia has been bombing civilians and hospitals. What did the US, the UK and France do? Not a lot.

I'm sure the US didn't like it. That much should be obvious. But I think we're now at a point where what's good and what's bad doesn't much matter.  The way you win WWIII is to not play the game.  Otherwise, everyone loses.

Who said it would be Putin?

What do you figure would have happened if one of those "nuclear capable" aircraft had been sitting on the tarmac fully armed and ready and gone "boom"?  I'm not confident in the safeguards that would prevent that from happening, much less the safeguards that would prevent an automatic nuclear response if it did.

I also think it strange that Zelensky does provocative stuff right after he meets with US warmongers.  Like right before that White House meeting where he was asked to leave...  And after meeting with numbnuts Graham.

Again, the U.S. has not intention to go to war against Russia for a lot of reasons.  The main one, no casus belli.  It sounds like you're trying to create some "THE WEST IS SO AFRAID OF RUSSIA" but Russia can't even beat Ukraine.  I suppose there are Venezuelans, and North Koreans, and Iranians, etc from all the most depraved and broken countries strutting around saying "The fact that America hasn't invaded is proof of their fear of us!!!"... if that makes them (and you) feel better... ok feel good then.

You realize that this puts you at odds with the rest of the body of Russoprop?  The talking points are that "NATO IS AT WAR WITH RUSSIA RIGHT NOW" and "THAT KINDERGARTEN WE BLEW UP WAS BEING USED AS A UKRO TRAINING CAMP."  I'd avoid standing near windows and accepting tea from strangers. if I were you.
