So, to post surveys from a pretty well established right leaning survey group doesn't say much. Here's is a summary assessment. The Trafalgar Group has a unique place in the polling landscape. They earned a strong reputation for their 2016 predictions, which they attribute to their "shy voter" methodology. However, their subsequent performance has been mixed, and they face ongoing criticism for their opaque methodology and perceived Republican bias, leading to a fluctuating reputation for the accuracy of their surveys Gallup: Latest (May 1-18, 2025): 43% approval, 53% disapproval. Key insight: Gallup notes that independent views of Trump have changed meaningfully this year, now at 33% approval versus 46% in January.
