Let the world’s press in your Gaza with no restriction on where they go, who they talk to and what they report.

Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.

That did not work out too well with Al Jazeera and the Saudi news network. They turned their "reporting" into anti Israel  campaigns, and some  "journalists" were affiliated with terrorist groups and used the cover of the Press  identification to support terrorist activity. If Al Jazeera was blocked from entering while others were allowed in, the  news media would scream  discrimination.

An Al Jazeera reporter was just exposed as circulating false  information blaming  the IDF for the  most recent  alleged deaths at an aid center. The lies that were circulating on social media was repeated  in this forum. The BBC  has been obliged to retract its story that relied on the Al Jazeera information.  However, the groups who promoted the claim have not, and some AN  prolific posters have stayed quiet. That's what your "journalists" are doing.

https://www.bbc.com/news/live/ceqgvwyjjg8t Claim graphic video is linked to aid distribution site in Gaza is incorrect

an Al Jazeera journalist offered "New footage reveals the horrific massacre committed by Israeli forces near a US aid distribution site in southern Gaza."

You really have lost the plot, let the worlds press in with no restrictions in a war zone where the enemy do not wear combat uniforms and hide among the civilians. Talk about ignorant to reality.

Besides there have been plenty of International reporters there including from the BBC but they have to be embedded as with all wars. Why are there different standards for Israel?

It was the same in Iraq with the US military, any journos had to be carefully vetted and were then only considered if they agreed to be embedded.

But hey if International journalists still want to go and mix with Hamas and the local population hoping they are not going to be taken hostage, let them go. Hamas will love it.

All the more reason to let in more reporters.

Like in every other war. Press is never restricted in war time, right?

Of course, the press to you and your ilk means Terrorist aiders and abettors.

For 20 months, the Israeli authorities have refused to grant journalists outside of Gaza independent access to the Palestinian territory - a situation that is without precedent in modern warfare,"

I’ll ignore your baiting remark.

Reality check: If Hamas is an eliminationist anti semitic organization, arent all their supporters in favour of the same thing?

Yet that is simply untrue. Proof already provided that you are obviously deliberately ignoring.

 A truly obscene statistic, and the number is steadily rising:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckgnp154eeko

Journalists or embedded Hamas operatives?

Targets or collateral damage, intentionally sacrificed by Hamas?

The obscenity is your refusal to acknowledge this and to instead make a broad generalization.

Do you remember Mahmoud Al-Kumi and Hussam Salama? They were celebrated journalists too. They worked for the Al-Aqsa television network, which has a monopoly in Gaza and is controlled by  Hamas.  They were actually Hamas operatives and were  neutralized by the IDF before they could complete an operation. They were buried as glorious martyrs in the service of Hamas, which acknowledged their "heroic" military actions against Israel.

Muhammed Riad al-Shamalah — the commander of Islamic Jihad militants in southern Gaza and the head of Islamic Jihad’s military training programs used a vehicle with Press designation painted on it for his transport.  He died when the  IDF shot hit his  Mitsubishi Lancer which had press TV painted on. There  were no television or communications equipment inside the car. Aside from this, it was quite a miracle how he was able to operate a new vehicle normally used by  NGO humanitarian groups, since there was supposedly an embargo on non  humanitarian new vehicles entering Gaza.

Do you remember Mohammed Abu Aisha? He was a "journalist" for Al-Quds Radio. He looked very patriotic in his  Islamic Jihad uniform. Somehow, I don't think he was offering the farm report, or  local news updates like  Mrs.  Baboulala's delivery of her 12th child in 12 years.

One of the multiple "Media Centers" in Gaza that was targeted by the IDF was also home to the offices of Islamic Jihad.  The IDF sent a warm welcome  into the Islamic jihad office, targeting

- Baha Abu al-Ata: Commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Gaza City Brigade;

- Tissir Mahmoud Mahmed Jabari: Senior Islamic Jihad operative;

- Halil Batini: Senior Islamic Jihad operative;

Ramez Harab: the former head of the Sheikh Rajuan Division

Islamic Jihad admitted that their operatives were hiding in the media building and confirmed that at least one of them was killed.

The AP carried the report and the Islamic Jihad admission.

Hamas and other militants often used media buildings for military purposes. For example, on the 7th floor of a media building in the Rimal district of Gaza City, Hamas was operating an intelligence and command center. The IDF surgically targeted it.

In another media building used by international journalists, Hamas was using antennas on the roof to communicate with its field operatives. On Nov. 18, the IDF surgically targeted the roof:

And on and on.

And nowhere in your diatribe, do you  recognize or acknowledge that  Hamas, Islamic Jihad et al, use  "journalists" as cover for their activities and operate from media centers. Where is your finger pointing and condemnation?

Not at all. The media was used as cover for hostile acts. See above.

So are you saying of the nearly 200 journalists killed, none are in fact journalists?

Cute. Some were indeed  not actually journalists. Others were killed when militant military targets were  eliminated. The "journalists" were often aware they shared premises with Islamic jihad and accepted the risks of acting as cover for the  military groups. Why not direct your question at Islamic jihad and Hamas and ask them why they intentionally located their communication and command centers  in buildings and then offered the buildings as sites to journalists.  Hamas, and Islamic jihad knew what they were doing and welcomed the death of   these people as it provide excellent propaganda opportunities.

Again, you point your finger accusingly,  and refuse to acknowledge or hold Hamas  and others responsible for intentionally putting people  at risk of  injury.
