Gold Heist Suspect Fleeing to Pattaya Arrested: Blames Online Gambling Addiction

A 47-year-old man who robbed a gold shop in Lamphun province earlier this month has been arrested while hiding out in Pattaya, Chonburi. The suspect, identified as Mr Prakorn Somnuek, confessed to the crime and told police he acted out of desperation due to debts from online gambling.

Husband and Wife Killed as Pickup Truck Skids off Rain-Soaked Curve in Prachuap Khiri Khan

A crash claimed the lives of a married couple when the pickup truck driver, lost control in heavy rain and crashed into a metal signpost marking a U-turn point along Phetkasem Road. The incident occurred on 14 June, in the Baan Thung Ko area of Bo Nok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Jealous Husband Kills Wife and a Man in Love Triangle Horror

A horrifying double murder unfolded in Nan province on the infamous date of Friday the 13th, as a jealous husband gunned down his wife and another man in what police believe was a deadly love triangle. Drunk Father Crashes Motorcycle, 14-Month-Old Daughter Killed by Oncoming Pickup

Cyber police have raided and dismantled an online gambling operation, known as “FAST24H,” based in the Pattaya area, which reportedly generated over 9 million baht in monthly turnover. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the illegal website, which had more than 6,800 users nationwide.

Central Investigation Bureau Nabs Cash Courier for Call Centre Scam Syndicate

Officers from Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) have arrested a 36-year-old man from Phu Sang district for allegedly acting as a cash courier for a sophisticated call centre scam network. The suspect is accused of smuggling between 1 to 2 million baht in cash daily across the border into Laos, hidden inside a lorry.
