Entering Thailand by train from Khamsavath Vientiane. Can I use non O evisa?

Hi. Can I enter Thailand by train from Khamsavath Vientiane using a non O evisa?  Thanks

 

Also, can I enter Thailand by direct bus from Vientiane to Bangkok and use my non O Evisa?

Yes. your e-visa is good for either entry.

That's another yes.  Unlike a Lao e-visa a Thai e-visa can be used at all entry points, print it out for convenience, and don't forget to do the arrival card (TDAC) as well.

Update.  All good.  Crossed at thakek nakhon phanom
