Should try Nigeria! I worked there for around 6 months in Lagos, Victoria Island.

Very dangerous, especially after dark, not the locals so much but the police, they make the Thai cops look like boy scouts.!

Saudi Arabia is among the places I’ve lived and worked, way higher on the ‘would I go again’ than some other places I‘ve lived and worked.

My time in Jeddah in particular was a very positive experience.

KSA is in general a very safe place to live and work, you can walk around at 2 am and nothing is gonna happen to you!

Havana, Cuba is by far the worst city in the world.

You'll be welcomed by a cuban guy tailing you to see if he can persuade you to go to specific restaurant so he gets a sack of rice.

Looking around nothing but housing that's falling apart, with people that have dead eyes looking from out of the ruins.

A worse place than Havana? Perhaps Harlow in the UK now.

I almost got into a fight within an hour of landing in LA because the rude, unhelpful taxi driver deemed my tip insufficient after I had unloaded my own bags from the boot of his smelly car.

Like most of California, ruined by "Progressives".

How do you know his politics?

I don't.

I never mentioned his politics.

But you wrote this, "Like most of California, ruined by "Progressives". "

What did you mean with that line of not a comment on his politics?

It was a comment on the state of LA.

Not this particular taxi driver.

Read it again when you're sober.

So totally unrelated to the thread or even your own post, just an inconsequential non sequitor. It's not me who's on the sauce.

How is it unrelated to the thread when we are discussing unwelcoming cities?

Of course LA offers a rotten greeting, it's full of bitter self loathing sneering Liberals like yourself.

Was the taxi driver one of them? No idea... But it's quite possible his desperation was caused by being taxed to oblivion by the doomsday cult for daring to drive a car or earn an honest living.

Or might it be that most people who meet you for the first time find you objectionable? I suspect that's closer to the truth.
