There are some crazy replies on here. @xylophone has good advice. Taking funds from bank accounts before probate is easy but not something an intelligent person would do. I have a English written will that is legal but will take a long time to get through probate.

I think ones beloved beneficiary would rather wait a year and definitely get your bequest than find little or no cash available because of underhand/illegal/non standard practices.

VERY SIMPLE WILL. no property, no personal affects...only 2 bank accounts in one major bank and 1 account in a second bank.  I am over 80 and need reasonable directions to leave contents to a friend, same sex, who has helped me and I've known for about 15 years.  Need something simple and easy for him, when I pass.  Thanks for your help!

You can download the form it is in Thai and English both parts to be completed but very easy to follow.

My Thai wife and I had a very good will done by a lawyer in Korat. We have no kids. If one of us dies the other gets all our assets. There is some land and a house which I am not sure if I am not entitled to because I am not Thai but I am not concerned. The will was done in both Thai and English. If both of us die at or around the same time, my wife's niece, who lived with us for a number of years, is the beneficiary. She charged us 8000 Baht for both wills. I was told that if you are a foreigner, the will should be done in both Thai and English.

Why would "your lawyer" use someone else's forms.  They have their own and will still charge to "do it properly".

Why skimp 5,000 baht for a 400,000/800,000 bank account.  get it done properly and then R.I.IP.

Re your reply.....you didn't read the post correctly, so your answer is not pertinent.
